Super good chips and salsa (& margs). Will definitely be back!
We love coming here or ordering take-out. The food is delicious and the service is awesome! The prices are not bad either. Highly recommend the quesabirria… the consomé is perfect. Just the right amount of spice and such rich flavors. Their pastor is excellent, as well. They also sell carnitas and barbacoa by the pound on the weekends… so good!
This food is amazing!! Give it a try!! Mike was so happy with his burrito and my meal was just as awesome!! FRESH and it shows!!

Los Cantaros is a newly opened authentic Mexican restaurant located just 20 minutes from the west side of Joliet and 10 minutes from downtown Joliet. The restaurant offers a spacious parking lot and is currently awaiting its liquor license, but that does not stop customers from enjoying their delicious Mexican dishes with great flavor. The owners are known for their friendly service, and the restaurant has been welcoming guests for only 5 months.
Customers have enjoyed menu items like the chorizo and cheese dip, flautas, burritos, and the torta de Lomo (pork loin). The horchata is praised as one of the best, made traditionally with actual rice. Although some customers noted that the burritos could use more meat and are on the smaller side, they still appreciate the fresh taste. The carne asada dinner has received positive feedback as well. Los Cantaros is a great option for celebrations like birthdays or family reunions.
