Nice, clean, and had good food. I ordered biscuits and gravy. It was hit the spot for sure. The server had the right amount of attentiveness. The only thing I found confusing was where to pay. There was a set up near the door, no longer in use. I had to awkwardly stand at counter along with other patrons who had pulled up a stool. Cornerstone Family Restaurant caught my eye as a really cute family owned place and decided to stop in for lunch. As a lone traveler, I was warmly greeted and felt very welcomed in place filled with locals.I had blueberry and chocolate chip pancakes and a side of crispy hashbrowns. I really appreciated the hashbrowns weren't salty - the owner commented on a previous review about being customer conscious regarding sodium - and wish more places keep that in mind.Next time I'm traveling...read full review
Our Favorite Spot in Central Illinois for Breakfast or Anytime!They serve breakfast anytime. The eggs, bacon and coffee were hot and delicious. Restaurant is immaculate with lots of cozy booths. The server was friendly and attentive and prices are super reasonable.
