About 527 Cafe

527 Cafe is a restaurant in Chicago known for its delicious spicy Taiwanese beef noodle soup, which customers find to be the best in the area, even compared to restaurants in Chinatown. The cafe also offers a variety of authentic Taiwanese breakfast items, such as soy milk, Chinese crullers, sesame flatbread, and savory turnip cakes. A unique item is the Taiwanese breakfast "taco," made from a scallop pancake with a fried egg, lettuce, and pork floss. The cafe is run by a husband and wife team, and take-out orders can be placed online. The food received positive feedback, with the green onion pancake sandwich and sweet soy milk being standouts.

Very nice owners I especially like the appetizer-Steamed Vegetables With Meat SauceSteamed bok choy topped with a tasty pork belly sauce. We’d love to try more dishes, but will wait until we can...read full review

Green onion egg pancake sandwich was delicious and my mom liked the big mouth shaobing. Fresh sweet soymilk was a perfect addition.
