My favorite cappuccino in Evanston. The vibe is always chill and the ambient noise is the perfect amount where one person can be reading a book and the next table over could be talking with each other and no one is disturbed. The pastries are always good and the folks behind the counter are always super friendly. The ideal neighborhood spot.
This review is quite overdue since I’ve been a customer of brothers k for over 20 years! This independent coffee shop is quite spacious and there’s plenty of seating, both inside and out, though it can sometimes be all occupied. It has a bit of a hippy vibe with a mix of chair and table design styles and it looks like they are currently updating and replacing the older more worn out decor, including wallpaper and signage, and the refresh is very welcome.
