We love this pizza. The employees have always been really nice too.
Here’s what you need to know: loved this pizzeria. Delicious pizza that had all the right flavors in great harmony - from the meat to the cheese to the sauce. Great value for around $5 for a huge slice.Service was super friendly and quick - only took 3-4 minutes for my slice to be ready from the time I ordered. The ambiance is cute and practical for a carryout only place. They have a terrific selection of Italian sodas and teas in a fridge. I even found my favorite Italian peach iced tea.Overall, Extremely well run local pizzeria deserving of all the love and adoration it has.
Delicious! Hard to find great east coast style pizza here in the Midwest, but enter Cantuccio’s!! That thin chewy crust is spectacular.
This is our favorite pizza in Evanston and beyond. Perfect NY Style crust. Fresh and tasty ingredients. Always delivered hot. We used to order Jimmys Pizza when we lived in Chicago so this has become a very welcome go-to since we moved. We actually find in better than Jimmys in some respects. Our usual order is a Pepperoni and the Bridgeport. It’s the best!
Absolutely delish highest quality ingredients. Prepped by chef who is expert in pizza.,. Fresh from oven. 4.5 - 5 star
We built our own pizza and ordered Kale Caesar salad. Both are tasty and not too cheesy. The food was prepared well at the given time.
Cantuccios is our family's go to pizza place on the North Shore. The crust is crispy, doughy, and phenomenal. The salads are fresh and paired with house made dressings that will not disappoint (especially the caesar!) My youngest cannot recommend the meatballs more fervently. Our family typically has a hard time deciding on a restaurant everyone agrees on...except when it comes to Cantuccios. Everyone finishes happy and earmarks a slice for the next day's lunch. Give it a try! You will be so grateful you did.
Great place for New York style pizza. Good ingredients and tasty toppings.
Customer service is impeccable! The pizza was very good. Will definitely be buying again. Very curious about sandwiches!!!
Came for the pepperoni pizza, which was delicious and love the 18” size. Will be back to try the kale Cesar salad!

Let's call it West Coast crust...I'm not a fan of tavern style and can only do deep dish once a decade or so. That doesn't leave a lot of good options in Chicagoland, but this is the best we've found in the northern areas. You mostly get what you pay for and it's not cheap. But it's got the good crust I associate with Bay Area gourmet places more than NYC style (which remains elusive in this part of the country). For some reason they do this thing where they put the fresh herbs in a container for you to add at home. Once I got used to the idea, it actually works pretty well (as long as I don't forget). Prefer the white pies but their sauce is okay. Edging out Gigio's for best in town. Maybe there's something better in some remote burb, but we haven't found it.
My boyfriend and I are both recent(ish) transplants from the east coast and arent into deep dish (an unpopular opinion here in Chicago). We were searching for decent thinner crust pizza or New York style pizza and dropped by Cantuccios because we had read a bunch of favorable reviews on Google and Reddit. We LOVED the pizza. The crust is the right balance of fluffy, chewy, and crispy but still thin enough to pick up and fold easily. The cheese and toppings were delicious and there was just the right amount of that orange grease on the slice. Cantuccio's is somewhere i cant wait to bring friends to when they visit and I highly recommend it for anyone who loves pizza.
UPDATE: 8/13/22. Cantuccio's REMAINS top choice thus far, though we wish the menu was more extensive.Today we tried the meatball subs with mild giardinera. Good sandwich, arugula and giardinera elevated flavor profile. The only thing preventing a perfect rating was that the inner paper wrapper stuck to cheese and bread. Perhaps there's a "right side" for this material?ALSO IMHO,- Pequods - WAY over-priced/hyped.Initial visit 7/16/22We recently moved to area and have been looking for our "go to" takeaway pizza. Not a fan of deep dish and ultra thin cracker style crusts. The pizza tonight had soft airy, yet chewy dough (nearly perfect to our preferences) and sausage, pepperoni and red pepper toppings were good. Ordering was easy and it was ready as promised.Still need to check out a couple more places, but it was much better experience than the other places we've tried.
Amazing New York style pizza slice. Assuming full pizza to order is off the charts. Definitely a can't miss.
Great pizza, will order again. It’s thin crust, light and puffy on the edges, not overloaded with cheese or sauce. I really recommend this place.
