Tasty sushi, quaint place and friendly staff. A favorite spot.
I’ve been eating at Coast for nearly a decade, and it’s always been quality, tasty sushi. Still is. It has also always been a little expensive. But after their recent price increases they’re sky high now. I assumed it was just the market, but tonight I checked around for some place new and discovered that they’ve left the market in the area, far, far behind. Sushi is pretty good here- I think it used to be better. Sashimi cuts are a bit thin though. They have great tempura appetizer and lots of rolls and such.
Coast Sushi & Sashimi is a fantastic restaurant with delicious food, including sweet potato tempura sushi and maki rolls. The filet mignon is cooked perfectly and highly recommended. While it may be a bit pricey, the quality is worth it. The service is decent, and the patio in the summer is lovely. However, currently closed for renovations, so it's best to check before planning a visit.
