Love the atmosphere. The coffee is nice but it is kind of watered down. The bagel was nice as well. It's a great place to study or have a chat with friends.

lovely spot! friendly staff, unique drinks (black sesame latte is a must) with common asian flavors, hosts lots of community events. lots of pastries, and they're starting to make filipino dinner plates too! just make sure to check their Instagram account for their updated hours.

Great potential. Poorly executed. The place was dirty (dust everywhere) and cold. Doesn’t look like they do pour overs anymore so if that’s what you’re looking for go elsewhere. They were also out of bags of coffee and were unsure when they’d have more so if you’re looking for beans maybe call ahead to see if they have any. I ended up getting a basic black drip coffee and it was very mediocre.

Calm atmosphere, nice staff, and short wait. If you’re in the area I would definitely go!

Food here is great, coffee however tasted so unflavored. The first time I came here a year or so ago I had the best brown sugar latte in the world. I returned a few weeks after and the recipe had changed. I attempted to give them a second chance this week when I ordered and my drink which tasted like dog water. I’m not sure what happened but I ask that you guys bring back the original recipe from over a year ago. It was honestly the best drink I’ve ever had but now I’m just disappointed.

Awful ube coffee. I asked for her to recommend something to me, I had a sip, ugh, nothing like she described. "Do you want something else?" "Yes, please". Took almost 10 minutes to make (as I had to wait now for other customers) and she charged me for it. "I'd thought you were replacing this because what you recommended was awful" "No, we didn't make it wrong, you just didnt like it".Yeah, Ima gonna be disputing this second charge. Whole place has a creepy pride month vibe too. I just want to see coffee shop stuff, not political stuff everywhere I go.

Very long wait, woman didn’t seem concerned. Finally got to me and was pretty short tempered, considering her role. Seemed like she was irritated that she had a customer who wanted to order. I got a small drip coffee and a muffin. The muffin was delicious, but the coffee was so piping hot, I thought I was going to burn myself through the cup… they were out of sleeves, which they did not tell me before serving me the obscenely hot coffee. Because it is so hot, I have yet to try it, but given my experience so far, and the fact that I went in there to buy beans, and they do not sell them… I don’t have high hopes for it to be good quality. My muffin cost significantly more than the coffee, which is a little unusual, I thought… although I guess I can say one positive is that the drip coffee is a good price point. However, is still out on if it’s drinkable or not.

Dark, dingy, beaten interior. Cluttered and not very clean. Bathrooms are disgusting. Coffee was ok but not warm enough. No pastries available at the time I was

Went to Coffee Lab and was surprised by new interior. Did not know it shifted ownership. The absolute WORST Kenny G Christmas music was playing and it was in early November. Interior much more focused on selling cards and random art that coffee. My Cortado was fine- price was right and taste was good. But new owner just feels disconnected with NU vibe and community vibe. Back to Brothers K it is.

Flies…lots of flies. Flies competing for my food and landing on my clothes. Nope, not eating outside (in which case I’d fully expect them). The cashier/barista/food preparer (all one person, nice enough) directed us to the bottle of simple syrup to sweeten my wife’s cold brew (which tasted ok), but once she saw 3 flies buzzing around the uncapped tip wisely chose to skip.We pulled the ripcord and left without finishing our bagels when my wife saw multiple flies on my baseball cap.
