The food is good let me start there but those Spanish girls up there have no customer service etiquette the first time I called they hung up on me when I asked how much is the delivery fee when I got there they had an attitude. I don’t know what happened to the Jamaican girls, but they need to bring them back.

First I called 20 to 30 minutes ahead for a pick up order & they didn't put my food on until I came in and paid so I had to wait. Next the Hispanic girls up there knocked some of my food on to the floor I asked about it, they said it wasn't my order bagged it up and proceeded to give it to me, they are trifling and don't deserve that job

Chicken was fresh and cooked perfectly- crispy, moist, and glistening inside. Gator bites were great - good ratio of batter to fish. Mashed potatoes and gravy were good too! Not sure if the recent criticisms of this restaurant were warranted - because to me, the food was spot on!

Decent food, some items are great prices , some a little bit a stretch for me. I have not been disappointed with any meals . Reviews are mixed for me.
Spartan pick up joint. Pick up or delivery, not a restaurant. No menus to go just taped to counter or online version. Reasonable prices and decent food. The Chicken, Ribs and fish have been good. Recommended. Bathroom was clean but not really wheelchair friendly.

Chicken Shack is still good to me. The bites were delicious.
I went there twice which was my first mistake. The first time I went the chicken was barely warm and extremely dry and the fries were soggy. The second time I was thinking maybe it was just a bad day but the same exact thing. Never going there again. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Ordered from here for the first and last time yesterday.
Everything we ordered must have been sitting out for hours before it was packed up and handed to us.
It wasn't crispy. Nothing was. It wasn't even hot. It was warm and rubbery, like it had been fried 8 hrs prior, or more, and just been sitting under a heat lamp.
We were both disappointed, and frustrated, as we were hungry, and half of it ended up in the trash and it was a waste of $.
What really baffles me though, are the accolades and awards. The rave reviews. Who is reviewing this place positively, and what are they eating that makes old, rubbery, food seem outstanding to them?
The sides are disgusting. The chicken would be fine if made fresh. Maybe the sides too. But it was just a bunch of boxed, cold, leftovers.
If we wanted to eat leftovers, we'd have eaten at home. Which I recommend you do, instead of ordering from here.
