Remove your restaurant from DoorDash if you can’t fulfill orders! If the demand is too much, remove from delivery apps. Period. You cancel before a driver is assigned and now a person has to wait up to 7 business days to get a refund to their original payment. Ridiculous.

My recent experience at the establishment was unfortunately quite disappointing. Upon arrival, there was no staff present to assist. After greeting a gentleman in the back, I was informed that he was not the cashier and that I needed to wait for the actual cashier to return, which took approximately four minutes.

When I placed my order for a two-piece tilapia, I was informed that it would take twenty minutes to prepare. I attempted to cancel my order and request a refund, only to be told that refunds were not permitted. By this time, I had already been waiting for thirty minutes for what should have been a relatively quick order, given that frying two pieces of fish typically takes just four minutes.

Additionally, I noticed that the cashier's pants did not fit properly, which was somewhat distracting during my wait. Overall, this experience did not meet my expectations, and I would advise others to consider their options carefully before visiting this location. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Basic soul food type establishment. The only major issue is the menu prices hasn't been updated.

I ordered 6 wings and they came undercooked with no mild sauce. Literally pink inside. My soda was warm. There was no option on their menu to specify about the sauce so they sent me dry plain undercooked chicken. I’m SO pissed.

We ordered over 100 chicken wings for our office Black History celebration on Thursday and everyone raved about how great the wings were! This is the second year using this Harold’s location and they’ve yet to disappoint! Nice staff, food was ready to pick up and very tasty! See you next year!

At this Harold’s Chicken location prices are very deceptive!
This is a huge trust issue!
Please post the correct prices!
I was charged a different price than what was posted on the menu board & different from the prices listed on the website!
The restaurant has old signs from the pandemic posted announcing price changes. But no current pricing..
I would have even been satisfied with the cashier taking my order telling me the correct price of my order, but that didn’t happen. I was just charged a different price and nothing was communicated.
I hope this observation helps in continuing a healthy business practice. We need you in the community!

First time here and everything was good from the service to the food !! If you’re familiar with Harold’s you already know that EACH one is different. This one was good . I got a 4 wing dinner with hot sauce on everything. My only slight issue was coleslaw was a little juicy but still good !! If you’re in the area I would suggest stopping by .

Whoever jus made the batch of chicken and fries in the last hour or so need to change the grease or something cause them fries cooked to well and the chicken not cooked well enough so the mild sauce can hold to the chicken without it being too soggy cauS I’m only 1 min from the store by drive && hold back on the salt !!!!!

I grew up on Harold's Chicken. It is a continued favorite in my family. However, today's order at the Evanston Howard location was an unfortunate dining experience. The Cook was half an hour late. Once, I finally got my 6 wings and fries, one of the wings was completely black! Not burnt, but BLACK!! Looked dangerous and or diseased! This took all the joy away. from enjoying the rest of my meal. I also want to mention that the nice young lady who took my order and seasoned my food was GREAT! I didn't take back the BLACK wing bc ( let's face it) I am sure they would not have provided a customer friendly remedy. This is verified by all the handwritten signs they have posted in the restaurant (i.e. check your food before you leave...). I was not happy with this visit. If there is a next visit, I will open the bag and check every EVERYTHING!!! I am sadden it has come down to this!!

Whatever you do, don't waste your money here.
Any time you pull the tip off a chicken wing and the bone is still attached AND the middle part, it means the chicken is NOT DONE. Horrible stuff!
Wings should be easy to pull apart when done.
I brought back the uneaten wings and the man
blamed ME..! Not Good! ?
