I order the lunch menu from Kingston once a month or two. It's a good amount of food at a good price. I usually get the curry chicken with rice. I don't know what they put on that curry, but it will definitely stain your nails yellow, lol. Be careful with white counter tops. So far, though, the food hasn't disappointed!

I would leave a 0 review if I could. I’ve been going here since I was a kid. I saw the slow progression of a decline in front of my eyes. Their food is nasty now. I got chicken yesterday and it was dry and it also wasn’t jerk. They literally just use bbq sauce and call it jerk. Don’t waste your money here… I won’t be stepping not one more food back in there. I can tell they’ve given up. One thing that always rubbed me the wrong way was anything that had a lot of sauce it was watery… they were cheap with the packaging. They give you those super weak take out boxes that hold no liquids so by the time you get home whatever napkins they gave you are wet so it defeats the purpose. I think it’s such a lack of care when any business doesn’t package their product properly and it shows how they feel about their customers. 10/10 would not recommend.

Went to Kingston Grill for an evening snack: beef patty Parking: there is a parking lot so there are plenty of spots. If taking public transportation, this location in near corner of Dodge and Dempster in Evanston. Good vibes in the place. Seating is in the restaurant or at the kitchen (stools). I could tell there were regulars in the place. Service was a litle slow, but friendly. Big screen TV, several tables in the place and plenty of information of future carribean events available (flyers and newspapers). I took my two beef patties to go and was happy to eat my late snack. Cheers!

I really want to like this establishment but every time I try the food I'm disappointed. I was raised by a Jamaican father who could cook his ass off. Curry rabbit. Curry goat. His curry dishes were the bomb! But for some reason, Kingston Grill's curry just doesn't hit the taste test. The rice and peas are bland and tasteless. I can't bare the taste of the cabbage and the plantains are just so-so. Both my parents were excellent cooks and perhaps I shouldn't compare their culinary expertise to these others, but when you're craving curry, you want delicious curry. I hate rating this establishment so low, but the food just isn't worth eating. Sorry!

I ordered from Grub hub, I ordered cola champagne, Jerk chicken, rice, salad, plantains, Mac cheese, rum cake. The order came, I got grape cola, caramel cake, missing plantains, no Mac and cheese. :( I called them back. I wanted a refund. She no because it was already delivered???? She said she can give me plantains tomorrow???Will refund me for Mac and cheese. Then, instead of apologizing. She hung up on me???? The food was too salty and it was cold. I would not recommend this place. It should be closed

If u just opened and the chicken was cooked today it would not look nor taste like that! I been eating from here since i was in highschool! I know yuk meat when i see it! All in the trash! And next time throw some water on your rice when u re heat it! No more for me!

I was very disappointed in the meals received tonight. I order oxtail which is mostly bones. I also got stew chicken, brown stew fish, chicken soup and beef patties. There was not even 1 piece of meat in the soup. The rice and Peas was the most disappointing part of the meal. I am not sure who cooked tonight but that person needs to retire. I dont know which words to use and describe the rice because that does not taste like rice and Peas at all. Very very disappointed.

The salad was advertised to have romaine lettuce, cucumbers and cheese none of these were found in the salad. This is my last visit as I don't like being given false information. Who orders a chicken salad and gets a whole wing in the salad ? ?!!!Parking: There is parking outside the restaurant.

A wah diss!!! Neva in mi life did mi just pay fa chop up dog food!!! Merciful Fadda dem chop up di oxtail like puppy chow! Full of butter bean and bone! Dem mince up da goat like lickle dice tomato!! No curry flava at all!! I paid fa 3 large dinner!! $74 wasted!! On top of the drive from Waukegan! Treat da regulars dem good but didn’t know I’m fromforeign too!! Nothing about this was authentic!!! Best thing was the respectful young lady as cashier.
