I eat too much from this place lol

I ordered a large wonton soup and a small order of cilantro chicken dumplings to go. They were ready at the expected time, the service at the counter was extremely nice, and the food was delicious. I’m excited to get their dumplings again!

Came to Dumpling House to see what it was about. On the plus side, they have a huge menu with tons of different kinds of dumplings, which is great. I also saw things like Peking Duck and bao, so there's a lot to choose from. Ordering is done on a kiosk, which is fine, but it makes the experience feel a bit impersonal.

The place itself is pretty basic. White brick walls, counter seating, and a slushie machine give it a very casual feel. It feels more like a takeout spot where you can also sit down.

The food was perfectly fine, but not particularly memorable. It's a reliable option if you need a quick dumpling fix in Evanston, but it didn't blow me away. Good for what it is, but probably not a place I'd go out of my way for.

This is the place to get dumplings. Hard to beat.

Small storefront restaurant with incredible food. The Xiao Long Bao is amazing. If you are longing for a wonderful meal this is the place. I suggest take-out or delivery not much seating.

The very best dumplings hands down! Great bao! So delicious but this place is not dine in capable. They are a very small but mighty team and they do try but this location just does not make sense for dine in. There is simply no space for it and you're kind of on top of each other if you choose to sit down. They also need a lot of time to get orders done which are fresh and delicious and have been every time I've gone.

Expect to wait at least 20 minutes for your food especially if you come during dinner rush especially on a Friday.

Wow, just wow. All dumplings! And other stuff I didn't have room to order. Chicken Egg rolls, which were actually meaty and savory , not just cabbage and carrots goo like I usually experience. Pork Flatbread, so yummy, and filling. Then the soup dumplings came out and I enjoyed, until the Zhong's Dumplings blew my mind. I just wish you could order smaller quantities so I could have tried more options. I have leftovers

This place… just go. The dumplings have thick, chewy skin, superbly holding in the broth and filling until you bite through. And those are the regular dumplings—they also have soup dumplings. The chicken and cilantro and the beef and onion are our favorites. There’s only one table and a few bar seats inside, and picnic tables near the street, so this isn’t a place for lingering but carryout means your dumplings are the right temp not to burn your tongue when you get home.

Delicious dumplings, especially the pork cabbage and lamb cilantro. The sesame balls with red bean paste were small. I’ll get 2 orders next time!
