We hosted a private all vegetarian lunch event for a group of 35+ people in the banquet facility of the restaurant. We are very grateful to Mount Everest Restaurant team ( Bipul and his entire team) for making this event a big success.
Bipul (Manager) and his team worked with us to create one of the best tasting vegetarian menu that we have had in US.
We had few tasting events with Bipul and his team to create a fantastic dining experience. Bipul is meticulous, very responsive and fun to work with.
Our Menu:
========
-Couple of appetizers { Veg pakoras + Gobi Manchurian}
-Veg Entrees {Chana Masala + Palak Paneer + Paneer Tikka Masala } Breads: Butter Naan and Garlic Naan + Onion Kulcha}
-Desserts: Ras Malai and Gajar Halwa
-Condiments on the side: Mint & Tamarind Sauce, Raita, Mixed Pickle, and Salad (fried jalapeño, red onions, carrots, cucumber & lemon)
-Sweet Paan.
The restaurant offered a comprehensive alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages selection for the event also
Thanks again and keep up the good work!!

The menu offered a delightful range of options, and every dish we tried was expertly prepared and beautifully presented. The flavors were vibrant, and the ingredients were clearly fresh and high-quality. The standout dish for me was the [Paneer Tikka], which was simply outstanding.

I really like eating at this restaurant. The best thing is the tandoori chicken and garlic naan. The mango lassi is very good.

The greatest taste of Nepali ?? food in Chicago. We started with chicken choila, a typical Nepali dish that goes well with any type of alcohol, they serve Mustang beer ? made in Nepal ??. Best combo. Usually choila is served cold but they served us the hot choila and it was just great, we loved it. The taste was on point.
For two of us we then had chicken momos which tasted great, reminded us of back home Nepal. Great job ? chef ?? ??. Momo were juicy, and ?.
For our main course, we had goat curry and paratha. Curry comes with Jasmin rice and you should order paratha or nan on the side that goes well with the curry. The curry we requested for a medium spicy and it was perfect for us. You can ask your spicy preference; don’t be shy, they can customize spicy level based on your tolerance.
All in all best service by Binod who made sure everything went well. Best food, good job kitchen team and the space itself is tidy and nice, has enough natural lighting from the windows and walls has some paintings that reflects Nepal which we loved it.
The restroom is at downstairs and has a stair or elevator for ADA compliance. The restroom looked nice and clean.
Wheelchair accessibility: Has an enough slope at the entrance for wheelchair access and an elevator to the lower floor to access the restroom.

Was excited for the return of the buffet….was disappointed that all the dishes were lack luster.
The variety is still there but not nearly as tasty as pre-covid.
And the rice pudding tasted so odd.
The naan is still pretty good.

The food is pretty good. The business thali available during lunch hours is a very good deal. So far I’ve tried Paneer Chilli, Aloo Tikki, Aloo parantha, Paneer Tikka Masala. All had good portion sizes. The Aloo Tikki was covered with Chana masala which made it so good. -1 star cause Aloo Parantha and Paneer Tikka Masala could use more flavors and spices.

Excellent, high quality Indian food served by attentive waitstaff. Very friendly to our toddler (who we spent much of the meal wrangling!).
