i’ve been coming here for a few years and this morning it’s just a little weird there’s a line there’s like five people. There’s one girl who’s working I think she kinda knows what she’s doing. She was really sweet, but there’s three people in the kitchen and I don’t know what happened to any of the other workers or I don’t know who the managers are there was that one guy who was managing this place? I don’t know what happened to him plus the coffee is like...
The coffee here is exemplary of the third wave. The tropical natural pour over is fantastic. And I aeropress these beans at home. It's perhaps the best coffee in Chicagoland.
Newport Evanston is such a cool spot. I love the clean, modern design. The coffee was incredible. We spent hours sipping and talking, and it just felt right. Unlike the usual dark coffee houses, Newport is light, bright, and inviting. Service was excellent. Parking was easy. The location is great. I loved it and can’t wait to come back.
