I enjoyed the kouign Amman, it’s like the muffin top part of a muffin. A thin pastry, the best crunchy buttery top of a traditional kouign Amman I’ve had elsewhere. I also liked the macarons, especially salted caramel and hazelnut.

Classy little coffee house. Excellent and friendly service. And of course the coffee is great! Best iced frappe-like iced coffee I have ever had. This is a nice place to hangout, take a moment and seize the day. Evenston is a cool place to visit.

I've been here a number of times and every sandwich, pastry, croissant, quiche, and drink I've had has been good. This place is owned by a French person, which is a plus. The music is really interesting and usually in French. It seems like a local hangout, and has a neighborhood vibe. The only negative is that it isn't very clean. The floor and tables don't seem to be wiped down (crumbs, hair, coffee stains), and the fabric seats seem worn and dirty. It's the only place I've been to that smells unclean and musty. So it's not the kind of place that I would spend much time in.

This place completely blew me away 😍☕! Everything I tried was top-notch — the food was delicious, the pastries were fresh and perfectly made, and the coffee was rich and full of flavor 🥐🍰🔥. You can really tell they put care into every detail, and it makes the whole experience feel special 🤤✨.
The atmosphere is also super приятна and welcoming, making it a great spot to relax, catch up with friends, or just enjoy some quiet time with a great cup of coffee 😊🪑. It’s the kind of place you’ll want to come back to again and again because everything is just that good 💯🙌.

I came here with my friend, it was a little packed but we managed to snag 2 chairs right by the entrance. We ordered the lunch special (we both got the ham and cheese croissant) very very good and fresh. We got some macarons after and they were ok. On our way out we grabbed a coffee to go and it did not disappoint. Overall I would come back!

It’s a shame that the food is so delicious and the coffee is incredible but the staff is consistently pretty rude whenever I go here. I get it, working in a coffee place can be rough, but it seems like every time I order a baguette sandwich all of the employees start immediately talking to each other about how inconvenienced they are by my order. Again, I get it! Talk trash about customers but do it behind closed doors. Also, if the sandwiches are that hard to make and inconvenience the staff so much then maybe they should be taken off the menu. The first couple of times I went I was wondering if it was one of those theme places where the employees are rude to you on purpose. I guess that’s kind of an authentic French experience?

Went to their high tea with a friend. It is a cozy setting with great service. They accommodated gluten free and vegetarian. The finger sandwiches were delicious. Overall a great spot for a French treat at any time of year. Merci!

The 1 hour and 15 minute drive to Evanston to have tea with my hija-amiga was absolutely worth it. Patisserie Corali is a tiny, very popular, and very crowded little gem that serves a beautifully simple high tea in a warm, quaint, country-French setting that instantly puts you at ease.
We had a dedicated server who was kind, friendly, and young — and her slight lack of experience only added to the charm. It felt human, unpolished in the best way, and refreshingly sincere.
The classic three-tier stand delivered a joyful tasting journey: savory finger sandwiches, lovely cakes and sweets (including their excellent macarons and madeleines), plus warm buttery scones and tasty mini quiches served separately. It was a cornucopia of small delights; generous, comforting, and clearly made with care.
The tea selection is also wonderful and thoughtfully curated. What truly stood out, though, was the lack of pomposity. No stiffness, no theatrics, just good food, good tea, and a feeling that you’ve been welcomed into someone’s home.
Easily one of the best high tea experiences in the Chicago area. Lovely, cozy, and full of heart.
