The best burger in Evanston and also the most inconsistent 😫 good prices, delicious crinkle cut fries! the Humpty Dumpty is my hangover cure. Unfortunately trying to order from here is always a shot in the dark. Went in the other day since the phone line has been down. They are in the middle of renovations but still “open”. He told me they don’t have burger buns though and he didn’t seem like he was planning on getting more. Said the menu was changing, so who knows what the future holds for this hole in the wall.

2nd time I ordered the 3 piece catfish with fries and only got 2 catfish and I ordered fried okra but got hush puppies instead. Never again am I ordering from this place .

Ordered the smashburger, mozz sticks, bacon burger & Chicago dog. Only the mozz sticks were decent. Neither of us finished the burger (menu caramelized onions, got regular uncooked onions, bread was super thick and stale, burger meat was well cooked but lacking flavor, bacon looked and tasted weird). The Chicago dog was not on a hot dog bun?? And should’ve had everything on it but only had onion and mustard on it. will not return

Some of the chicken wings were fresh, some were old and smelly, I returned 4 smelly wings, I told the seller about it and there was no reaction.

Unfortunately I can not seem to order from this restaurant. Three times now I've placed an order, only to have it cancelled as I'm driving to the restaurant. Don't mess with hungry people who already gave you money. Restaurant is okay, food is decent but if you can't keep orders and waste three trips driving for me, we're done. Sorry, you lost my business.

Restaurant smelled like old oil. Food was not bad, but also not something I felt like I have to have again. For counter service, I felt like it took awhile to come out. Table was not cleaned.

This restaurant let me have my sandwich the way I like it. He didn't even question ⁉️. I appreciate that. He can with a bonus in reminding us to Pray. Whenever I want my sandwich, it will be from there

We ordered on a Friday, earlier that day the city had a water main break. I called to confirm that they were open, and I ordered 4 piece wing dinner and a chicken salad. The wings had fried obvious feathers on them, ok no problem, I took them off. The salad had no cucumber, not one, no pita bread, no mozzarella, no Italian dressing, and the chicken had a lot of seasoning on it but was hard. How do you mess up a salad? Well, here you go. We would have gone to Herm's, but the water created a problem. Fatzees/ Halal Town Smash Burger is out!
