As I was leaving from picking up an order, the manager came out of the building and yelled at me because I had mentioned to a polite staff member that it's illegal in Evanston to play audio from commercials onto the sidewalk (it's section F1 of the noise ordinance). Easily the rudest restaurant manager I've ever encountered in my life.

This locally owned restaurant is a great and low key place to find a casual meal. It is close to and therefore is popular with Northwestern students but it has a diverse mixture of students and locals with easy access to parking and CTA/L purple line station at Noyes. The wait is no long and the service is no-nonsense. Dave's Italian kitchen and D&D are also in the same area if you're looking for Pizza or a good breakfast sandwich - both are solid. Stacked & Folded dominates this Noyes niche and it's worth the trip if you want a reasonably priced and no nonsense meal.Parking: Easy parking on NoyesKid-friendliness: Booths and tables are appropriate for kids
Overpriced and not worth the price. We went for dinner and had the chicken sandwich and shrimp po boy. We are super disappointed with the poor quality and small quantity of food. The chicken in the sandwich is almost nonexistent.

Deeee-licious!!! The short rib empanadas were flaky and flavorful. The staff were very helpful and attentive. The owner stopped by the table to complete the experience. The menu was very interesting--definitely going back.Parking: Pay parking right in front but two-hour free parking on the neighborhood streets right around the corner.

Ordered a falafel salad and what was served appeared like someone took a few bites of two out of 6 falafels. Disgusting beyond belief. Never again.

We went after an appointment at NorthShore Evanston on a Sunday around 2 pm and they were still serving their limited brunch menu. We didn't see anything on their website that their menu was limited for brunch and didn't have access to the full menu. The restaurant was very cute and catered to a college town. Open space and very clean. The service was a little slow for a late lunch and the food was okay. I expected more due the reviews. I had the short rib banh mi and the meat was very dry and stringy. The bread was nice and crunchy and it came with a salad. My sister had their burger which was a double smashed. She said it was good but messy. They charged us $2 for a side of cheese which we expected an up charge but $2 felt steep.

They make a great old-fashioned, but their bulgogi steak didn't taste at all like bulgogi. That being said, their fries were great too. Service was very kind and nice.
Would not recommend, menu has all kinds of hidden charges and staff isn't good at following directions. Food is decent, but not worth the hassle of getting it.

If one hypothetically chooses fruit as a side for one's bulgogi cheesesteak to be healthy but continually steals the homemade chips off her kiddos' plates, does one get partial credit? Asking for a friend...Damn, those homemade chips are addictive! The bulgogi cheesesteak was savory, hearty, and comforting. I would easily order this again and highly recommend it. Love the clever sections of the menu too. Stacked = sandwiches. Folded = tacos. Forked = salads. Love this gem of a place! I want to come back to check out the cocktails.
