Been a Chicago hot dog eater for 65 years, since 1958. I've been to them all. Used to be you couldn't go 1/2 mile in any direction in the city without hitting a good hot dog stand. This is a throw-back to the old days. Great dog and outstanding fries. I mean OUTSTANDING. Dog is great by any standard, even against Lerner's and the Ranch. Haven't tried anything else on the menu because there is nothing, I mean NOTHING better than a 'meal on a bun'. Only thing missing is NEDLOG orange drink.

I've been coming here the past 10 years every week in the summer because of how incredibly good and CONSISTENT this guy is. mind you it is a single dude who takes the orders, makes the food and everything and yet he still only closes it once a week. genuinely the best fries and fish sandwich i've ever had, no place comes even close. he's a beast and can make some of the best burgers and sandwiches in the area no doubt!!!

I ordered takeout randomly at my office job and figured I would try this place out. I was not disappointed one bit. The small order of fries is totally worth the price. I was shocked at how many fries I had. The 1/3 American Cheeseburger was just perfect. If I lived in the area I feel like I would come here a lot. The parking confused me because I'm from the suburbs, but it was completely doable and fine. Will definitely order again.

There is literally no appeal to the place. The restaurant is really small, the service was bad, and the burger I ordered was burnt to a crisp. I wouldn’t even bring my worse enemy to this dump, highly don’t recommend.
