Walked in here today randomly for dinner and had a fantastic experience. My bf and I ordered the signature udon and the chicken karage curry rice, and we both really enjoyed our food. The restaurant was clean, and the service was really great. The owner was there the day we went, and he was super kind and helpful for our table. The restaurant was probably halfway full, and we still got our food within 10 minutes of ordering (honestly, it was probably closer to 5). Overall, we were super impressed with our experience and would come back again!

We absolutely love this place. My son and I found this restaurant while he was attending a music workshop at Northwestern four years ago, and it’s been our favorite spot ever since. It’s a true hole-in-the-wall! Our favorites are the spicy edamame and the karaage ramen — both are a must-try.

I've been here before and it was essentially the same: pretty decent, but nothing to write home about. a rather simple poke bowl, and a standard katsu curry. the cutlet in the curry could've been a bit crispier and a bit juicier, and the veggies in the curry a bit more cooked (really big chunks), but otherwise the flavor was all there. poke didn't really stand out, not bad, not amazing. I'll still come here again in the future if I'm ever in Evanston and am feeling very specifically something on the (rather large) menu, but otherwise it's not a destination restaurant.

Went here yesterday with my colleagues for our team outing in the karaoke room. Reserving it was easy and fast; Chris was really responsive. The room was cozy and accommodated all 12 of us easily. Our server, Cooper, was really helpful - props to him for expertly handling a bunch of us singing and yelling to each other while slinging dishes and drinks. Great job, Tomo!
