Union Pizzeria - Evanston SPACE

Enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Dining just before the show. I had shrimp scampi and mushroom soup. Both were delicious. I have had pizza there in the past and it was also great. Definitely recommend it, especially if you check out a show at Evanston Space. I would go just for the food as well.

Every visit here has been a great experience. Although it is often very busy and crowded, the staff is very friendly and efficient. The food is ALWAYS very fresh and served at the temperature it is intended. Don’t hesitate to reserve your next dinner out here!

Parking: Restaurant does not have its own parking so you have to find paid street parking.

Love this place. The food is excellent. Especially the pizza! The sausage pizza is amazing with a mug of Temperance IPA from tap.

Very cool, urban pizza place. Menu does have other options besides pizza. Food was excellent. Friendly staff. I’m busy nights can be quite a loud environment.

BIG DISAPPOINTMENT! If you value your experience, avoid this place!

It seems like you have to keep ordering to stay longer than 40 minutes. While the pizza was delicious, the bartenders were incredibly rude, and the management seemed more focused on making money than providing a welcoming atmosphere.

My friend and I were asked to move from our table because a larger group was coming, even though we had just started our evening. All we wanted was to enjoy a drink and chat for 1-2 hours. We ordered a pizza, wine, and coffee while sitting at the bar. However, as soon as we finished the pizza, the bartender immediately tried to give us the bill after we declined dessert. I still hadn’t finished my wine. I told them we weren’t ready to leave yet, but just 5 minutes later, another bartender placed the bill in front of us without a word, as if telling us to leave.

This is the worst part – when a bill is thrown at you without even asking if you’re ready. I should be able to request the bill when I’m ready, right? It felt incredibly disrespectful and ruined the experience.

I wouldn’t recommend this place. Don’t be misled by its upscale appearance – they seem to count every minute a customer sits as profit.

Bartender was horrible - enough said! Very snooty for Evanston. Thought I was in Glencoe! Too many other pizzerias in Evanston. Set menu and can’t modify a pizza - are you KIDDING ME?? Not worth the visit. Do NOT recommend.

What a find! Great food (pizzas, pasta & salad), drinks, staff and atmosphere. We were visiting from out of town but are definitely planning on coming back next time we are in the area. The sausage and hot honey pizza with arugula was a must-try!

The food is always spot on, whether it's a wood fired pizza or a perfectly grilled fish, or eggplant copanata to start. Cocktails, wines and beers are excellent. The decor is upscale hipster. I always feel like the cool kid when I eat here... And I'm pushing 50.

We went on a busy Friday night so we didn’t want to wait 30-45 minutes for a table. Pizza was good. We had a beer while waiting but had to stand as there were no seats even at the bar.

We love Union Pizzeria! We are always able to grab a spot at the bar or lounge area and the service is still 10/10. They have the best pizza in town and their pastas and salads are delicious as well. They have two local beers rotating on tap and a few craft cocktails that pair nicely with any dish.

Our favorites are the meatballs, Ligurian chopped salad, and pepperoni and sausage pizza.
