Union Pizzeria - Evanston SPACE

Ordered 2 pizzas 2 hours ahead of time for 5 pm on Saturday pick up and I ended up waiting for 20 minutes. Very unprofessional given the amount of time allowed. The place was not busy at all, so no excuse. The pizzas were too salty and came well done despite not choosing that option. At least they were generous with the toppings. Interior looked very nice. Hostess was very apologetic, but the kitchen staff failed to deliver.

Interesting takes on classic dishes such as calamari, gnocchi, and bacon-dates. Cocktails were very nice and our server was exceptional.

Awesome indoor and outdoor seating options. A group of 4 of us went before seeing a show next door at space, and I am so glad we did- the food and service surpassed my expectations. I highly recommend the veal ricotta meatballs to start with, they come with hot toasted garlic bread and a tasty marinara dipping sauce in a skillet- very fresh tasting. The pizzas are really delicious, too. My favorite was the arugula one, but we got 4 total so we could sample 1 of each. There was plenty of food. 1 pizza and an appetizer is enough for two people- but it’s more fun to try the different types. Our server was attentive and spaced out the meal even though the place was mobbed ans he was super busy. Good experience overall!! I’ll be back for sure.

Loved it! Went with my HS daughter and we both loved it. Got the Salami and Hot Honey as well as the 3 seed kale salad. Really nice!!!

Cozy and elegant, nice vibe. Pizza is amazing! Good service, great menu. Next door to Space, get there early for easy parking and a quick seating. Patio is gorgeous!

I wouldn’t say it was the best pizza of my life, but it was definitely good. I really like this place — the food hits, drinks are solid, and the whole vibe works. Bartenders are a bit on the grumpy side, but I feel like that’s part of the charm. It’s got that “if you’re here, you already know — don’t ask questions” energy.

The hidden concert space is a super cool touch. Overall, a great spot with character.

My aunty lives by this place, and every time I am in town, I wanna come here because it is consistently amazing. The food is spectacular. I am keen on the salmon and, of course, mushroom pizza. You have to try the bread pudding as well. My aunty loves the margarita pizza. The atmosphere is always inviting and relaxing and the staff is courteous and attentive. There is a 90 min max on tables (during peak times), so make a reservation even for 15 minutes after you think you may arrive to totally get the full 90 min. 10/10 and I can't wait for the next time in September.
