Personally I love their sandwiches and their French fries? Ah-mazing! It may not be for everyone but it is one of my favorite sandwich places. I just wish it wasn't so expensive but prices are high everywhere anymore.

Me and my wife went there 11/12/25 at around 630 and had the best customer service as well as the best cheese steak sandwiches ever. We both got large ghost pepper cheese steaks and fries and the were perfect. They also were very understanding about me changing my cheese at the last minute. Absolutely love the ladies working there .

Subs were good. No prices on menu. Gave me a large when I ordered a small. I paid for the large before I noticed. Place was not very clean.

It's been 20min and I dont have my food yet. There should be 3 people here but anytime I stop by there is 2 people and it takes forever. The place is kind of dirty and sticky once your sitting waiting 20 - 30min. It's been 22min now and I dont see me or my families samwitch coming out yet! One person's fries looked dark and burnt. I hope ours isnt.

My husband and I have been big fans of Penn Station for quite some time. We’ve been vegetarians for ten years and it can be tough to find good options for casual takeout. Penn Station is our favorite go-to.

We dropped by the Fairview Heights, IL location today (9/20/25 at 12:15pm) for our weekly date, and I went in to order. I ordered our usual —two large artichoke subs, add mushrooms and all the veg. The man at the register asked if I wanted thousand island, and I said yes, because the artichoke sub comes with sauce, and I just assumed that’s what he was calling it.

We got home with our subs and discovered we had gotten two Reubens. Ordinarily, we aren’t the type to fuss, and would have just eaten them, but with these being meat, it wasn’t an option. So we returned to the restaurant, and trying to be kind and accept my part in the situation, I said “Hi, I think I must have miscommunicated. I had ordered two Artichoke subs, not Reubens.”

The man at the register bluntly and rudely replied “No you did not. You ordered Reubens.” I explained that we don’t eat meat and I wouldn’t have ordered those, that there must have been a mistake made between us, but he adamantly insisted it was my fault, that I ordered the Reubens, and if we wanted new sandwiches, we had to pay for them.

We will never go back to this location.
The man claimed to be the franchise owner, Cory Lyle. I was shaking and almost in tears when we left—there were customers in the store, and I have never been so insulted, embarrassed, and disrespected by a supposed business owner before. All over a pair of sandwiches.

We don’t want anything. We don’t want coupons or discount or anything. We just want this person held accountable for the absolutely abhorrent way they treated loyal customers.

I visited Penn Station yesterday and want to give a huge compliment to one of the employees. While I was there, a customer was being extremely rude and disrespectful toward him. Instead of reacting negatively, the employee handled the situation with so much patience, professionalism, and respect it truly stood out to me.

Even with that going on, he still made sure customers (including myself) were taken care of. I got my food quickly, and it was fresh and delicious. His attitude, calmness, and customer service skills were outstanding, and I feel he deserves recognition for the way he represented Penn Station. Employees like him are the reason I’ll definitely be coming back!

The guy that made the fries made a smart remark after waiting on my food. he proceeds to call me and the person i was with out our names. He then proceeded to say he can talk about how he can talk to customers any way he pleases. He told me he was going to get his baby mother and all. I stopped talking to the guy and he still continued to curse at me and threaten me. I definitely would like to speak with the manager. or be contacted by someone.

I didn't eat AT the restaurant but the staff was wonderful and the food was great.
We got there fairly close to closing time and, while we were there, at least, not a single negative thing was said.
The girls working that day did a great job.
