“We stopped in today for the first time. It was after the dinner rush close to closing. The staff was very friendly. We had the pork chops family style and the catfish fritter dinner. Both were delicious and arrived in a reasonable time. The staff checked on us frequently and made sure we were taken care of. Great comfort food. It was exactly what we were expecting. I grew up going to the original location when I lived in jerseyville, and the new location does a good job of carrying the same vibes. The menu has lots of choices and the prices are very reasonable. Great job bringing it back, and I’ll definitely be back when I am back in the area. Almost forgot to mention the new location is great for river and bridge views. Lucky to have barges passing by and watching the bridge being raised and lowered.“

“We stopped in today for lunch with the kiddos we didn't get anything crazy to eat. But all of out food was hot and extremely good. It is 8pm now and my wife and I are still talking about this place. Even tho we live 2 hours away it will be our go to place with the kids when we have a chance. The back roads and the location plus food was 10outta10. Thanks for the great experience“
