“I went to try the fish on a random Friday evening — The fish was crispy and golden perfection. Instantly hooked! I've been back a few times since, introducing others to this place as well. “My big sister helps run the place on the weekends and works the kitchen . it's a nice quiet relaxing spot to play some pool, play video games, darts , have some drinks and great food plus, the atmosphere is always chilled. I highly recommend the double cheeseburger and fries combo with a drink for only 6$, or for a starter the cauliflower bites coupled with mini tacos are also pretty great. Brews are solid priced and reasonable and so are shots it's a great place to stop in and have a few drinks or hang out with friends and get together.“

“I stopped into Patrick's Bar & Grill for a bite to eat while driving through Illinois and it was a great, classic neighborhood spot to unwind. The atmosphere inside was very laid-back and welcoming, with plenty of TVs around the bar making it a perfect place to relax and catch a game. I ordered a burger with a side of fries, and the food came out hot, fresh, and tasted exactly like a comforting, well-made pub meal. The bartender was super friendly and kept my drink filled, though the dining area got a bit noisy and crowded as the evening rush started coming in.“

“T is a wonderful and attentive bar tender. She greeted myself and my crew upon arriving, and she made sure that we were good throughout our visit. She was very nice and cool and her knowledge of drinks and the food menu was great. She has a wonderful spirit and she made our time at the bistro a blast. The food was wonderful and the venue itself was very clean and well kept. The food is consistently good, which is a plus and I always have such a good time when I come.“

“I drive past this place a lot and never paid it any attention. My friend and I wanted some frozen drinks and food. When I say this place was a pleasant surprise. From the security to the ladies working at the bar we felt cared for. Even the other patrons were really nice. You can tell they are regulars there and we enjoyed that. The drinks were A1 in taste and buzz level. The only “issue” I had was the menu I read about online wasn’t as extensive. I had my heart set on something I didn’t see in person but that’s not a dealbreaker. They will see us again.“

“Crazy awesome and fairly secretive spot - a former German restaurant turned Mexican restaurant turned 70's wood paneled rec room with some of the wildest experimental music shows in town. If they are serving food the street tacos are great but the Al Pastor burrito is a true hidden gem in St. Louis. Don't miss out on this spot when its open for its limited hours!“

“We went on Tacos and Tequila day in Soulard. A lot of the places in the area are historic....so they're kind of small but they maintain the building well. A lot of bar seating and high table seating... large collection of drinks and I think the run specials too. When it's nice outside they also have patio seating.“

“My Girlfriend and I have been here twice in a 5 month span, both times it was nice and quiet with not much foot traffic, Service was good as both servers were attentive and quick. Food had some good qualities First time had a burger and fries, second time Chicken and Steak taco. The burger was a normal burger that doesn't stand out thought they do give you a good portion of fries that are very good. The steak taco was very good, but the chicken was bland. “FINALLY! - There is a restaurant that not only accepts my love for chips on sandwiches but embraces it with crunchy, cheesy, yummy Doritos! I didn't have them today but I will be sure to next time and there's gonna be a next time. I had the Bam Jam which is likely the most creative burger I've ever had- diner style smash with breaded melty, creamy goat cheese medallions coupled with a rich and flavorful bacon jam. So here's the thing, the place feels like a bungalow, the front door has a ripped plastic window (someone missed the sign that says open door here!) but the service couldn't have been more courteous and the food was crafted with precision and care. I'm as sure that they are going to fix the door as I'm confident that someone is going to accidently rip it again. That said, I almost like it ripped a little because it fits well with the unassuming atmosphere of this neighborhood gem. And it is a gem, with a great patio view of the city on the edge of two great neighborhoods - You should go there, eat, visit and enjoy!“

Parking: Parking is not so good unless you come early“

“Great dive bar with outdoor patio. Bartenders are friendly and welcoming. The burgers are to die for and they have fantastic daily specials. It's definitely a hidden gem! I hesitated writing this review because I don't want it to get to busy. 😂“

“I love the crowd and music but the customer service of the bartenders is straight trash. They literally partying with customers while others are waiting to be served. They must be related to the owners because they don’t mind huffing and puffing with nasty attitudes. Only complaint is get better bartenders with sales experience and customer service.“

“I have been a long-time customer of St. louis Happy Hour since 2008 but the service I experienced yesterday was very disrespectful on 11/08/2025. I arrived there about 5:15 pm and ordered a steak sandwich and a long Island iced tea because they were out of the Heineken beer. Dion was my server. I sat at a table with a friend after 20 minutes had passed my friend paid her tab and left and I sat nursing my drink i received a call from a friend who wanted some food which I ordered from Dion which was a steak and potatoes no onions and a cheeseburger that was 20 minutes later and still no food, while sitting waiting watching customers come in and out, watching waitresses take orders and take people their food some people coming in 15 and 20 minutes after I have been there I'm looking like wow why is it taking so long for my food to come out just then the people sitting 2 tables from me who arrived about 15 minutes after me received their food which was the same thing I ordered so I asked Dion where is my food she replied I am not the cook 30 seconds later she bought out my food which was cold like it has been sitting for a while so I let her know my food was cold and she got upset and her voice elevated asking me did I want it remade. which now everyone is looking as she id talking " no music is playing " so now everyone is looking our way, so now it's about 6:20pm my friend that I ordered the food for ids standing looking in shock like why she is yelling like that and she wanted to cancel her food. so, I canceled my food, but I paid for all the food to keep the confusion down. Dion then bought the to go food and we left. I patronize at least 5 days a week sometimes twice a day I tip well and always spend nothing less than $50 on average. when it gets to the point that a paying customer is no longer important to the business, or you feel like you don't need their business than it's a problem. Happy Hour is a great establishment, great owners, great waitress, great customer It's like Cheers. I am very disappointed. when your hard-earned money doesn't mean anything and people think that you have to be disrespected and pay them is some different stuff. You know what they say good service goes a long way, but bad service goes further!“

“Would definitely recommend! In St. Louis, near the arch, had a toddler with us. After being spoken to rather rudely by a different brewery/bar (had made a reservation error for same brewery, different location that the brewery was very unhappy with and wouldn’t seat everyone even though NOT crowded) and going to another restaurant that wouldn’t accommodate a toddler (‘we only have high seats’) when it was not crowded either, we went to The Pitch. It was AWESOME! Great tasting salads and burgers! No overwhelming noise! Very courteous people there! Was so good our daughter went back for the next day lunch with colleagues and we went again for supper that evening! Burgers sooo good! Desserts sooo good! They even showed the launching of Artemus for everyone to see! We found a gem that day!“

“Dropped in here on a whim while waiting for dinner reservations elsewhere and had a great time. Beautiful historic building kept in distinguished condition, in an easy walking location. Our man Coleman at the bar was a class act! Great conversationalist, sharp sense of humor, and knew his way around a glass pretty well too!
