Firehouse 282 is a hidden gem in Vandervender with a cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. The food is exceptional, especially the fish dish. The service is attentive and professional. The outdoor patio can get quite hot, but the manager provides relief with an industrial fan. Expect a possible wait due to staff shortages. Parking can be a challenge unless you arrive early. Even if you're just stopping in for a beer, the welcoming atmosphere and excellent service make it a place worth returning to for a meal.
