“I went to a Birthday party by my good friends who rented the space out. The atmosphere was great. The service was good. We had food catered so im.unsure if there is a kitchen to ser food to the public. There was no waitress, but the bar was only a few feet away. The bathroom was clean & tidy.“

“I drive past this place a lot and never paid it any attention. My friend and I wanted some frozen drinks and food. When I say this place was a pleasant surprise. From the security to the ladies working at the bar we felt cared for. Even the other patrons were really nice. You can tell they are regulars there and we enjoyed that. The drinks were A1 in taste and buzz level. The only “issue” I had was the menu I read about online wasn’t as extensive. I had my heart set on something I didn’t see in person but that’s not a dealbreaker. They will see us again.“

“Stayed in Air BnB across the street awhile back for the wwe Royal Rumble. My brother and I ate here everyday, drank here at night. Laid back atmosphere. I wanted to purchase a shirt and they didn’t have my size, owner went out of his way to go dig and find me one. 10/10 recommend.“

“T is a wonderful and attentive bar tender. She greeted myself and my crew upon arriving, and she made sure that we were good throughout our visit. She was very nice and cool and her knowledge of drinks and the food menu was great. She has a wonderful spirit and she made our time at the bistro a blast. The food was wonderful and the venue itself was very clean and well kept. The food is consistently good, which is a plus and I always have such a good time when I come.“

“Hey now! I just spent four straight days working with the St. Louis Blues Society for the Soulard Roots and Blues Festival at Big Daddy's in Soulard. This is the second year that I have worked the festival, and I have to say we couldn't have picked a better venue for this festival. We had 30 bands from Friday to Monday and it went great.

It went great due to the hard work by the volunteers at the Blues Society, Andy Coco and his crew from Dogtown Records doing the sound, and the tremendous staff at Big Daddy's.

This review is actually meant to praise the people who own and run this bar. Ryan owns the place, and I can tell that he must be a great boss (besides being a stellar businessman). The staff was nice and helpful and cheerful and accommodating and I can't say enough about how they were so low stress, just like a four day barrage of festival goers was a normal occurrence. It was a wonderful experience (so was last year, but I forgot to leave a review) because of the staff. Thank you!

The food is surprisingly good at Big Daddy's and the drinks are priced fairly and poured well. I love the patio there, too. I think if you went there on a normal day you would have a similar experience with this place. You can tell these folks enjoy working there and working together. Great place, highly recommended.“

“FINALLY! - There is a restaurant that not only accepts my love for chips on sandwiches but embraces it with crunchy, cheesy, yummy Doritos! I didn't have them today but I will be sure to next time and there's gonna be a next time. I had the Bam Jam which is likely the most creative burger I've ever had- diner style smash with breaded melty, creamy goat cheese medallions coupled with a rich and flavorful bacon jam. So here's the thing, the place feels like a bungalow, the front door has a ripped plastic window (someone missed the sign that says open door here!) but the service couldn't have been more courteous and the food was crafted with precision and care. I'm as sure that they are going to fix the door as I'm confident that someone is going to accidently rip it again. That said, I almost like it ripped a little because it fits well with the unassuming atmosphere of this neighborhood gem. And it is a gem, with a great patio view of the city on the edge of two great neighborhoods - You should go there, eat, visit and enjoy!“

“My big sister helps run the place on the weekends and works the kitchen . it's a nice quiet relaxing spot to play some pool, play video games, darts , have some drinks and great food plus, the atmosphere is always chilled. I highly recommend the double cheeseburger and fries combo with a drink for only 6$, or for a starter the cauliflower bites coupled with mini tacos are also pretty great. Brews are solid priced and reasonable and so are shots it's a great place to stop in and have a few drinks or hang out with friends and get together.“

After being spoken to rather rudely by a different brewery/bar (had made a reservation error for same brewery, different location that the brewery was very unhappy with and wouldn’t seat everyone even though NOT crowded) and going to another restaurant that wouldn’t accommodate a toddler (‘we only have high seats’) when it was not crowded either, we went to The Pitch. It was AWESOME! Great tasting salads and burgers! No overwhelming noise! Very courteous people there! Was so good our daughter went back for the next day lunch with colleagues and we went again for supper that evening! Burgers sooo good! Desserts sooo good! “Seamus is always our go to place to take our 3 young kids. They even have newly updated kids menus that have plenty of kid aproved foods and come with drinks! The patio is perfect on a nice day. The buffalo chicken sandwich is gigantic and delicious and the ranch it comes with is worth the price alone- SO good! Their burgers are huge and really good as well. “I stopped into Patrick's Bar & Grill for a bite to eat while driving through Illinois and it was a great, classic neighborhood spot to unwind. The atmosphere inside was very laid-back and welcoming, with plenty of TVs around the bar making it a perfect place to relax and catch a game. I ordered a burger with a side of fries, and the food came out hot, fresh, and tasted exactly like a comforting, well-made pub meal. The bartender was super friendly and kept my drink filled, though the dining area got a bit noisy and crowded as the evening rush started coming in.“

“We just celebrated dad’s 72nd birthday at Social House and we had a blast. The food was on point and the drinks were kept cold. The ladies who served us I apologize for not remembering names but they were sweet and awesome. Very professional and had smiles for days. If you’re looking for reasonably priced drinks, food, music Social House Soulard is where it’s at. We will be back again. To add I have been her on their club nights on Friday and it’s always a great time.“
