“I'm a big fan of hamburgers, and this place not only didn't disappoint, it was super impressive. The Pulled Pork sandwich was fantastic and Ribs Banjo were Tasty. I was here on business and my hotel was close by, but I also ate here twice. Super good and I'll be back again!“

“I'm a truck driver and had to make a stop at Walmart, which is in the same plaza. Saw the restaurant lights from across the parking lot. They had a good amount of cars parked in front for it to be the middle of the week. Decided to walk over, and as soon as I walked in, someone greeted me at the door. The inside decor looked very authentic and the people inside looked like they were enjoying themselves. I was seated immediately and the waiter came right over to take my order. The food was very good and filling. I had to take a to-go plate.“
“I have eating at PT's for a couple years and they have never disappointed us. We always get the pulled pork samwiches or the brisket samwiches and the ribblet ends are a must!!! Everything is great with a nice smokey flavor and their prices beat all the other BBQ places in Decatur! Their customer service couldn't be any better!Go and support the locally own PT's and u won't be disappointed!!“
“If you are looking for a fancy restaurant, this is not your place, but the food was so good and prices so reasonable that this is the place for Mexican food in Decatur. My daughter who is a poor college student says they will load up cars and drive across town for their tacos.“
“I first discovered them in Granite City Illinois in the early 2000's. That location closed and I thought I'd seen the last of them, so I was super-excited to see that the had come to Decatur when I came back to care for my mom. Love this place, love the staff, love the food!“
“Went to visit University Dogs while in Decatur for work. Ordered a steamed chicago style hot dog and small order of fries. The service and atmosphere of the place was pretty nice. The hot dog was pretty tasty. The only complaint I have regarding this place is that the fries are not that good unfortunately. But I would definitely recommend the Chicago style hot dog.“
“It's fast-food BBQ, you place your order at the counter and get your food within minutes. The customer service was exceptional, and there were plenty of options to customize your order. The meats were the highlight of my meal, except for the excessive sauce poured on them. The sides were good but not particularly noteworthy. The one thing I would do differently on my next visit is to request the BBQ sauce on the side.“
“New guy working did great. It was his 2nd or 3rd day and he handled our table of 7 like a boss. I know it got hectic and he rolled with it. Got all of the food we asked for and it was all awesome. Drinks were perfect. Great experience.“
