Perricone's A Soup & Sandwich Joint

The sandwich may have brought us here, but the soup is what will bring us back.

My partner stopped here to grab a sandwich after it was highly recommended. Instead of bringing me a sandwich, he came home with tomato basil soup because he knew I wouldn’t be able to eat for several hours. I’ll admit, I was initially disappointed not to get a sandwich.

That disappointment disappeared after the first bite.

This was hands-down the best tomato basil soup I’ve ever had. The portion was generous enough for two meals when paired with a grilled cheese, and every bite was delicious. I was genuinely sad when I got down to the last spoonful.

Now I can’t wait to come back—and this time, it’s specifically for the soup!

People of color beware. cashier was wearing an anti liberal shirt and hat supporting ice. never a good idea to mix business and politics! Never expected this in a blue state. #releasethefiles no one is illegal on stolen land! coming from a native american ❤️

Delicious soups! Very friendly staff!!

I had the misfortune of engaging with perricone’s, and it’s clear they support a narcissistic disaster. Aligning with someone like Trump, who thrives on chaos and lies, reflects poorly on their values. It’s infuriating to see a business that turns a blind eye to his shameless opportunism and blatant disregard for the Constitution. The allegations surrounding Trump’s inappropriate behavior with minors further highlight their poor judgment. If you care about integrity and supporting businesses that reflect positive values, I’d recommend steering clear of this place.

I found it extremely funny that the woman behind the counter was complaining about the price of all the food they buy has continued going up in price…. You voted for this and support it…

Perricones is the best sandwich stop I have been to in a long time! It’s hidden in downtown Fox Lake, so more people need to know about it. Their sandwiches, soups and desserts are absolutely delicious and layered with tantalizing flavors! This is my family’s new go to for a quick lunch or dinner. My recommendation: give it a try. I know you will keep coming back!

I feel like they use quality ingredients however what they have is very limited. Certain meats and they didn't even have basic toppings. Pretty pricey for a joint that you can't even get the most basic of ingredients.
