Sorriso Ristorante & Bar

Cheese Lasagna was very good. Came with a meatball of sausage. Our server was so kind as to sub that out with shrimp for me. The shrimp was grilled and amazing. Husband had the veal parm and was an unreal portion. Wine pours are WONDERFUL!!!!!

We requested a quiet area and the hostess was very accommodating, although it was very busy and still pretty loud ( I'm hearing impaired) . Once it started to clear out it was much better. The food was really very good. I had chicken caprese - two good sized boneless chicken breasts which had a Parmesan crust; it crunchy on the outside and tender inside. It was topped with sliced tomatoes and a generous amount of fresh mozzarella. My husband had eggplant Parmesan which was the best I've ever tasted. I've never seen it made this way- thick, round, crunchy discs of eggplant layered with a ricotta mixture . There were three stacks, he could only eat two of them and he's a big guy. The atmosphere is warm and cozy. Service was not that great. We had drinks at the bar, so we didn't have to wait for those, and she took our orders fairly quickly, but it went downhill after that. We didn't get our bread until our dinners had already been served by the bus kid. We looked to flag her down but she wasn't in the dining area; salad doesn't come with the meal so it would've been nice to have something to munch on while we waited for our dinners to come out. She didn't come back after leaving our bill, we both stood up with our coats on thinking someone would notice until I had to go to the kitchen door and ask for her. I could see if they were busy, but at that point there was only one other table there and they had a different waitress. I'm usually understanding as I waited tables when I was younger. Anyway, we would .still go back for the food.

Sorriso is my favorite Italian Restaurant! I am very picky about Italian, being an Italian. I Love the shrimp over olio pasta, I also love the linguine and clams with the red, well white and red are both good. Also the ravioli with Italian Sausage! But MY FAVORITE THING there is the Baked artichoke! Sometimes I just get that at the takeout. Please take it from an Italian the food is phenomenal!!!

First time here. Had an excellent meal. Large portions. Most tender chicken breast I’ve ever had. Melted in your mouth. Garbage salad is a must. Attentive wait staff. 5 stars.

High quality food and exceptional service. Sorriso has plenty of daily food & drink specials and a great Italian menu. The pappardelle bolognese is superb! The sangria is a refreshing and fruity delight.

Good food, lovely room. We mostly do carry out. Love ALL their food. The tiramisù is exquisite and ample.

Parking: Easy parking off Rt 30 near LaGrange Rd, in front of Marianos
. Sometimes they're very busy and the parking lot is filled.

The above options do not include their basic pasta and meat sauce. It is very good.

I enjoyed the best salmon I have had in a long time. The vegetables were delicious and the garlic mashed potatoes were better than average. Everything came out hot and proportions were generous. Found a new favorite restaurant!

Food was very good. Service was excellent. The only thing that was not great were the price of the meals. While being high they do not include soup or salads other than offering it ala carte. I will go back though not as often as I would like.

Professional staff provides excellent service. The recipes are authentic and well done. The general background volume is a little loud for me, but otherwise one of my favorite spots.
