“Would definitely recommend their double dough pizza. All their food is great but their double dough pizza is what I think they are the best at. I work nearby and every time people ask where is a great place to eat, I always recommend Grand Stand if they have a taste for pizza. Plus I just ordered from them late last night, my order was esitmated for 11:30, they got my house at 10:50. Very fast, very delicious, and very fresh.“

“Sadly I won't be going here anymore. This was my pizza spot since a I was a kid. But now the new owners have completely ruined it. Their delivery time has easily doubled, one time took the an hour and a half to deliver a thin crust. I had to call and then wait for a call back from the manager. Extremely bad look especially when dealing with a customer who knows how they use to operate. Their receptionist do not understand simple pizza geometry at all and they have gotten really greedy. The last straw for me was when I realized they were charging full ingredient price when you would get half ingredient. Last I checked at traditional Chicago land pizza joints (like how nick and brunos use to be or how Mugs or Gianni's is down the street) if you got an ingredient on half the pizza you were charged half the ingredient price. Not here though they think they are Lou Malnati's!! They will put your ingredient on half the pizza and take the same amount of your money as if they had to use more ingredients aka cover the whole pizza. Worst part is, the receptionist couldn't tell me their pricing all she said was "I don't know, I just punch it into the computer". Hopefully the new owner can let go of their greed and carry out the well established name & business they took after instead of lossing 20 year plus customers. Man I miss the old nick and brunos!! Greed gets you no where in life. Don't let this business take away the true traditions of Chicago pizza. They need to change their profile picture because this is not the same nick and brunos from 1977.“

“Well I took Friday off and made this a bucket list to make a comparison to Old School Manny's deli and cafeteria. Surprisingly the food for their corned beef deli is delicious in another way. Quality was good it's not as greasy or thick as Manny's corned beef which you'll have a food coma if you ate a whole corned beef or pastrami sandwich over there here the way they make their sandwich is similar to Jason's deli if anybody remembers Jason's deli. Jason's deli was not bad but it wasn't greasy if you're the type that likes greasy salty corned beef if it's done right like Manny's then that's what you should go otherwise if you don't like that feel this might not be a restaurant or cafeteria to eat at. The corned beef in regards to quality their Mile high corned beef was light and delicious it's fresh too just like Manny's but not greasy and heavy. I have seen this on Facebook as well and they're Italian versus being a kosher Jewish and they've been around too but not as old as Manny's since they've been around since 1960 whereas Manny's has been around since 1942 and is as old as my parents. Ambience was very casual and friendly it was my first time I had a dress to the cashier it's not really a cafeteria style but you can still sit down and eat I would most likely come back also because of the prices since Manny's tends to be expensive for their sandwiches. This was expensive too but then again I ordered a chili and a tiramisu I was going to get a potato salad just to find out they had soups. If you're around Franklin Park in like Mom and Pop delis this is another good option and don't want to drive to Chicago for Manny's and an alternative to Jason's deli in oakbrook or in Chicago surprise I did not know the other Jason's deli at the four stars. Being an Italian deli it's going to be a bit more limited to certain kosher dishes so don't expect to have knish or matzo ball soup but they will have chicken noodle soup.“
