Big O's on the Hollow is a bustling restaurant known for its great food and friendly service. Diners recommend arriving early, as the place gets busy, especially on weekends. The Friday fish fry is popular, featuring fresh cod served with coleslaw and a choice of potato or salad, though some have noted inconsistencies in the fish's quality. Other favorites include the juicy hamburger and fettuccine with grilled shrimp, which have received high praise for their taste.
While service is generally good, some customers have experienced longer wait times during peak hours. The restaurant also offers weekly specials and trivia nights, adding to its charm. Appetizers like fried duck strips and loaded fries have been enjoyed, although suggestions have been made to improve the temperature of the rolls and the quality of the cheese sauce on the fries. Overall, Big O's is well-regarded for its delicious meals and vibrant atmosphere, making it a great spot for special occasions or casual dining.
