Had the mini burgers and the pink panther cocktail. Living on a beef farm, it’s difficult to find something that tastes as good as what we raise. And this was excellent. The only regret that I had was that I didn’t order dessert!

My boyfriend and I decided to do a day trip in Galena & we are so happy we found this place. Everything was SO GOOD. I got the watermelon salad & my boyfriend got the soft shell crab burger. For dessert we got the carrot cake. Beyond our expectations. Our server was also so nice and attentive!!! GO HEREEEE

We've been twice and both times the food was amazing and the staff was super friendly and took great care of us. I can't recommend this place more. The macarons are to die for and the watermelon salad they have as a seasonal special is so good.

The flavor was SO GOOD. The Greek Philly was so full of flavor we couldn't stop eating it. The bread was super soft yet hardy enough to handle the cheese. The Smoked salmon hand held was well balanced and also good. Busy Sat. Afternoon. The table set up is chaotic in a small space. YET, food was fast and delicious, waiter - knowledgeable and efficient.

Wow! The waiter said “everything was good,” I doubted that.. but I was immensely surprised that truly, everything was not only good, but incredible! The ingredients were high quality, fresh and flavorful. The lobster bisque and burger were on point. I love to cook and often find myself disappointed when I go out to eat, this was the complete opposite! Fantastic! They take pride in their food which is hard to find. Thanks for the great service and a great lunch, we will be back!

Went in tonight was sad how long the wait was for a pre prepared sandwich, which we got after the hot food was served. The food was good / fine but there was only one table, should not have taken 50 minutes to come out. Sad to write this review because the server seemed nice.

So I found this place searching for coffee, but it has something for everyone. Bakery, desserts, coffee,seafood, martinis, steak, pork ramen. Regular hot coffee, lattes and espresso martinis! I'm always hesitant about Midwestern seafood freshness but the Lobster Bisque and Mac and Cheese are so amazing!!! They have escargot and baby octopus.
I'm so glad I dined here!!The service was Amazing,food was amazing!!We got dessert on the way out,one of the best croissants and macarons I've Ever had!! Definitely will revisit again!!

I really enjoy coming to Bread and Vine. I took my friend here and he saw the croissant's from the window and told me "These are good croissants". I said "Really? Just by looking at them?" He said, "Yep". He loved them and every time I'm in the area he makes me come here for croissants. I had the breakfast sandwich to go which was also really good. Great atmosphere too.

Ordered food for pick up on a ridiculously busy night during the Halloween parade. Owner showed up the help process orders and get food to customers. We had issue with some items we ordered being sold out and the owner gave a full for entire order. We still received the items that were available. Items we did have were very good. The pull pork poutine was fantastic with fresh fries, delicious cheese sauce and great pulled pork. The truffle fries were well cooked and had great truffle flavor and the Croque-Monsieur was delicious as well.
