The steaks were outstanding! The restaurant is located in one of the older building in Galena. Adds some nostalgia. Our server was attentive and very personable. The food was delicious and in sufficient portion size. You can easily overeat. The dessert cart has some history which only adds to the charm.
Our waiter Gavin was excellent. He was entertaining and knew the menu well. On of our dishes came out a little different than ordered and Gavin did an excellent job of making sure it got corrected. Super impressed overall.
Absolutely love dining at The General's. The ambiance is so relaxing. My walleye and my husband's salmon were delicious! We'll definitely return! Our waitress, Julie was outstanding!!
