Overall great experience. Compared to a Chicago steakhouse, it's a totally different experience, but it was quite enjoyable. Our waitress did an outstanding job, she was friendly and hard working. The bus staff also did a terrific job, very classy, professional, and fast. Our food was very good. We got the fried brussels sprout appetizer, and both got burgers. All was very tasty and generous portions. We also brought our 4 month old daughter and they were extremely friendly...
Gavin gave our families (6 people) great service last night. It was Halloween parade night and things were busy, but he never failed to check in with us and kept everyone happy all evening.
The steaks were outstanding! The restaurant is located in one of the older building in Galena. Adds some nostalgia. Our server was attentive and very personable. The food was delicious and in sufficient portion size. You can easily overeat. The dessert cart has some history which only adds to the charm.
