My wife and I went in with modest expectations given the reviews and some of the pictures (which seemed to make it look empty and sterile). First of all, it’s very cozy inside—great ambiance. And the food is excellent. For appetizers we had the garlic shrimp and the pizza. Both were outstanding. For entrees we had the pork chop and chicken dish. Both were superb. The service was outstanding. Everything was simply top notch.
We had 7:30 reservations and were seated promptly. Our waiter, Joey, was very attentive and made a great wine recommendation. The steaks were cooked as ordered, and we also enjoyed even the house salad with the raspberry vinaigrette dressing (my husband made a note of the fact that it contained a nice mixture of greens, not the usual iceberg lettuce!). Will definitely be back!
We were seated upstairs. We were not pleased with the room, Ihave been there before and first floor is where you want to be. We felt secluded and the atmosphere was boring. Lights too bright, music not good. Food was good. My other complaint about experience was that once I put my fork down, I had 4 waitstaff ask me if they could take my plate. I still had food on my plate and my partner was still eating. It made us feel rushed and by the fourth time we were really annoyed. Not...
