You have to know your way around Galesburg to find the restaurant, but they serve great Mexican food at low prices. Limited seating capacity due to Corona can make it a challenge, so arrive early. The staff is friendly, efficient and attentive. In the past, they served salsa in plastic squeeze bottles. They currently bring it in small plastic cups. I had no trouble getting more.
The Gizmo has cheap and tasty standard fare, counter-served: sandwhiches, burgers, fries, breakfast, fruit, ice cream, and more. I recommend the Prairie Fire Starter breakfast plate. The seating area is clean and full of light.
