Lava Italian

We ate at Lava for the first time today and it was delicious! Vito was great with service and it was quick, very fresh and hot! I would suggest you try it and give our area restaurants some business! You won’t be disappointed!

This was our first visit. The building isn't fancy but that's, it's attached to a bowling alley. No matter to us if the food is good. We were greeted warmly by the owner (I'm assuming). He asked us if we had been there before and was pleased we were trying them out. We were seated and they brought us the most delicious looking bread. It was as good as it looked. We went on a friend's positive recommendation. We loved the food! We felt Galesburg has needed an Italian restuarant. Bread that was brought to our table was hot and delicious. We were offered more when it went fast. Portion sizes were big. My wife got lasagna and I had a sausage/pepper spaghetti dish, both were excellent!
