Im a very constant consumer from this place but this morning i had the worst experience the waitress took forever to bring out my food she had to have someone else help her bring out the chips and salsa, the food was cold im very flabbergasted towards this experience, really debating coming back to this place

I WANTED TO TRY THE FOOD THE PLACE IS BIG, IT'S CLEAN BUT THE TRUTH IS VERY EXPENSIVE FOR THE FOOD THE TACOS ARE THERE MORE OH LESS THE PASTOR DELICIOUS THE BAD THING THEY TOLD ME ABOUT THE MEAT BECAUSE I DIDN'T HAVE IT BECAUSE THEY WERE ALMOST COLD NOT WARM THE STUFFED CHILIS MMMMM REGULAR BECAUSE THE CAPEADO HAS A LOT OF BREAD AND THE OTHER THINGS, I BETTER LEAVE THAT LIKE THIS, THE REGULAR SERVICE BECAUSE THE BOY WAS LOST THE SUPER MOVING GIRL WAS FULL AND SHE WENT EVERYWHERE IN A HURRY FOR THE LOST WELL GO TRY MAYBE I HAD A BAD TIME BECAUSE THEY WERE IN A HURRY I DON'T KNOW BUT THE EXPERIENCE WAS NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE

They messed up my order and gave me the run around about fixing it. Just had to buy another dish and eat up the costs of both plus we felt rushed because they started cleaning up and sweeping/mopping around us even though they still had over an hour before closing.

This place is a tough review. The al pastor and carnitas tacos were some of the best I've had. The steak and barbacoa is dry and chewy. The salsas don't have heat which is a negative. The horchata and tamarind juice was delicious.
The straw that broke the camels back are their prices. Pricing on the menu is cash only. Horchata and tamarind juice cost $6 each. Each taco costs $4 average.
For 5 tacos, 2 sopes and 2 non alcoholic drinks the total for lunch with tip was $70. I've had the same quality food and drinks for 1/3 the price at other restaurants. Such a shame because their food is good, but I will not be returning due to greedy practices.

Food really was sub-par and bland, at least the different burritos (chicken and veggies) we ordered. The salsas were no good as well. The atmosphere and service were great, so hopefully they take some tips from other Mexican restaurants!
I'd suggest going elsewhere for good Mexican food! Plus they weren't economical for the portions either.

I moved to the area a year ago and haven’t been happy with the Mexican food within 15 minutes of my home until now. I placed my first to go order today and it was great. I had tacos de asada, taco de barbacoa, arroz, frijoles, horchata. Everything was seasoned well and tasted very good. I can’t give all the stars because I haven’t dined in or tried other items, but this place just made me feel better about moving to the fox valley.

Place is a good size. Around 15 tables. Bathroom is small and only one for girl and boy. Service was slow but i went in for dinner on a saturday so they were very busy. Steak tacos are good. Enchiladas are good. Cocktel de camaron is good. The only thing i didnt like was the Torre de Mariscos its very very spicy.. couldnt enjoy it of how spicy it was. Prices are very high. I payed $200 for 8 people(5 kids, 3 adults) might return but on a less busy time and day

Loved the taco dinner here! Plenty of food and one of the few authentic places around. Really loved their horchata too! More importantly, the staff was very attentive and kind. It's always a great experience for us.
