The James Reviews
Very nice atmosphere on the outdoor patio which is why we decided to try The James. We both ordered the prime rib dinner. It was served on large shiny silver rectangular trays. The James offers a fantastic dining experience, featuring a team of kind, engaging, and friendly staff who provide exceptional service. The restaurant presents a variety of delicious options, including vegetarian and gluten-free choices, with clearly labeled dishes. The food is exceptional, highlighted by standouts like the Crispy Brie Cheese appetizer, Bourbon corn chowder, and the prime rib dinner. Guests have praised the lobster bisque and the slider appetizer, calling the sliders the best they've ever had. The atmosphere is cozy and scenic, with views of Geneva from inside and out. Many visitors appreciate the comfortable dining rooms that allow for easy conversation, away from the noise of larger spaces. The patio area is spacious and very welcoming with outdoor bar and live music, and the old style house that was converted into a restaurant is at least 100+ years old. With great service, wonderful food, and a welcoming atmosphere, The James is a great choice for any occasion and has become a favorite for many returning guests. Parking can be a hassle, with street parking on 3rd and parking lots on Fulton and James Streets.
