The Waltus Room was a pleasant surprise. Our waitress, who was great btw, suggested the Shrimp DeJonge appetizer and it was phenomenal-it had a little bit and the just the right amount of sherry in it. The Lake Perch and Walleye entrees were great. Side salad was excellent with a good and not overpowering dressing. We will be back.
Super cool supper club atmosphere and menu. My pork chop was perfect. My wife had the fish fry, giant portion! Try the relish tray as an app. Really brings the whole experience together.
This was our first visit to the Walrus Room. I would say that the word "eclectic" best applies to the menu and restaurant ambience. Our chicken and scallop entrees were just okay, with portion size on the smaller side and creamy sauces occupying more of the plates than we thought necessary.
