Great small town restaurant my friend and I stopped at on the way to Carlyle. The food was excellent and the price was unbeatable. Great service and pleasant staff. We will definitely go again.
My friend and I stopped at Valbo's on the way to Carlyle. What a great locally owned restaurant. Most of the clientele was local people. There seemed to be quite a bit of takeout orders, too. We dined inside, but the patio would be great in the summer months. My friend had the chopped meat dinner. She said it was great. The dinner salad was large and there were lots of dressing choices. This establishment was recommended to us and couldn't be more pleased. Very friendly, welcoming 3rd generation family owned restaurant. Best onion rings - I usually stay away from rings as I find them too greasy and tasteless. These were the opposite. Homemade, crispy, sweet onions balanced with lightly salted crust - Perfect!
