This Baskin-Robbins needs to be shut down. I ordered two large birthday cakes for my twins third birthday, and we received a call that they didn’t have the blue ice cream anymore Saturday night which I said OK, how about cookies and cream. She said yes they could do that and she would start now, and it would be ready by Sunday the next day. The next day we called the store to find out how tall the cakes were, to see if they would fit in our freezer because they were ice cream and the girl refused to go to the back and check and said there is no possible way to check how tall the cake was. I told her we would pick it up on Monday night instead then because we did not know if it would fit in our freezer. She said this would be OK. Come Monday night we call to make sure they’re going to be open and she tells us that there are no cakes for us. It was the same girl the day before who confirmed they’d hold the cakes. I wish I saw these reviews. She tried to call the girl who makes the cakes who said she did not make them. She gave me the store manager and general managers number, and neither one of them called me back. I have called the store multiple times and no one has called me back. I will now be settling with my bank.

I went into Baskin Robbins Glen Ellyn on Friday to order a birthday ice cream cake for pick up on Monday. They had me write my order on a piece of paper and told me I would get a call on Saturday to reconfirm. No call on Saturday, so I called them on Sunday. The woman who answered told me it’s not made yet and she wasn’t sure if it would be or not. What?? She told me to call back in one hour. I have tried several times and no one is answering the phone now. I guess I’ll be going to Oberweis or Dairy Queen for an ice cream cake. So disappointing. Posting this for buyer beware in the future.

Worst ice cream place ever. I asked about a bunch of ice cream flavors and the guy who was attending drive thru customers, was keep saying no, we don't have. So i decided to get whatever they had and the amount of ice cream they gave in the cup was like 1 table spoon instead of 1 scoop. Also the guy who was putting ice cream in the cups, was not wearing gloves. STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION.

Don’t offer to make an ice cream cake and then say “the cake maker is off today” when I come to pick it up. What the hell. Will never return and will be contacting the corporate office. Ridiculous and screwed up my family’s Thanksgiving.

I wish I could give zero stars - this place is AWFUL. I ordered a birthday cake for my husband one month ago. Came in tonight to pick it up and they not only hadn't made it, but they claimed to not have the order. Believe all of the other reviews that experienced the same bad service - STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE.

Terrible service! Be warned! I ordered an ice cream cake for my daughter's birthday. They called to say could not do it. I had to go into the store to get a refund. When I went to get the refund they assured me they could do it. I said are you sure? Yes, we guarantee it. A half an hour prior to the time I was scheduled to pick up the cake they called and said they could not do it. Un acceptable and completely unprofessional. To add insult to injury I had to drive to the store again to get the refund. No apologies and no trying to make the situation right. Go to the Baskin Robbins in Glendale Heights far superior service. I called them who were as pleasant as good be and they were able to come through. Their cake lady even came in early to help me out.

Worst customer service! I went through the drive-through and said I want the two dollar iced coffee with cream and sugar. The lady asked me what size I said whatever is two dollars.I get to the window and pay and look at the drink and it is mostly cream. I have never seen "coffee" so white. I said that there is way too much cream in there and she said that's what I ordered. I asked if she could pour some out and put some coffee in or give me a cup of coffee to add to it. She refused so I asked her to remake it. She comes back and it looks funny and she said I put skim in it since you didn't want cream. At this point I realize she's trying to be cute or funny. I ask for a refund. She gives me the money and makes a comment to her coworkers and I hear them all laughing. Any coffee drinker knows what color they want their coffee. The fact that it was white meant it was way too much cream. She could have fixed it but decided to be rude instead. I'm pretty sure when the owners realize how much they are wasting on cream. this will stop.
Moved here recently and decided to stop by. The tea I got tasted like it was a week old and literally made me gag. The coffee was wayyy to sweet I asked for 4 sugars and definitely got more than that. Had to tell the cashier my name at the drive thru three different times for them to find my mobile order.

After sitting at the drive thru menu for 6 minutes with no response, I pulled around to the window where I was told that this "ice cream shop" was out of ice cream. This is at least the 10th time this has happened. Why? Why wouldn't an ice cream shop have ice cream in the middle of the summer. No apology or further explanation other than the truck is late. Wouldn't you buy enough ice cream to sell to your customers, especially if this keeps happening? Perhaps someone should educate the franchise owner about the laws of supply and demand. Please advise this store that they are not good at the one thing we naively think they are capable of providing, which is the sale and distribution of frozen ice cream treats. I will not be returning to this location and have serious compunction about Baskin Robbins as a brand. Perhaps I should take my business to Oberweiss as they seemed to have cracked the code on keeping ice cream on hand to sell.

If I could give zero stars I would. I have placed at least 3 mobile orders and none of them have EVER been ready when I get there; and because I've known this I'll order 15-20 mins ahead to give them time. Each and every time they scrabble to make it when I pull up. This is kind of ridiculous, why have the app?? I have gone in store and been ignored for 15 mins on a 30 min lunch break, like come on. Worst Dunkin I've ever been to.
