Outstanding service and menu items including an excellent bar. The gluten free choices are safe and tasty as well!

The service was excellent, the food AMAZING. I had the chef's steak, it was INCREDIBLE. The chimichurri sauce, so tasty!

This was my first time dining at Glen Prairie and it was quite good. Very pretty space with enough room between tables so you can comfortably talk - which I appreciate. Food was good as was the service. I'll be back!

The food is always excellent. Chef Danny and his crew do an excellent job on taste and presentation. Weekly selections are limited, but always delicious. Gluten Free accommodations are a welcome benefit to GF dieters.

Glen Prairie is a nice quality dining option in the western suburbs, with convenient access and parking as it is located adjoining the Crown Plaza Hotel. It is casual and comfortable with a low-key vibe. Food is reliably good--my party ordered short ribs, salmon and the trout entrees and all were satisfying. My house salad was dressed a bit on the soggy side so I suggest asking for the dressing separate.

This was not a pleasant experience this time around and we frequent Glen Prarie. We had a party of 7. Restaurant was not overly busy. 1 incorrect order was brought out, 1 order of pancakes were very salty and burnt. After the “nut free” pancakes were brought out and somewhat eaten we were told that cross contamination is a possibility since the mixture is made near other nut flours. We had to ask on multiple occasions for water bottles to be refilled. It was not a great impression for our first time guests we brought with us. The gluten free crepes were good and so was the frittata but that was about it.

Unfortunately this recent visit did not go well for us, which is sad as Glen Prairie is one of our favorite go to locations for Celiac Friendly dinning that we feel safe eating. We are going to chalk this one up to Easter Brunch issues as most of those menu items are not their regular fair. But we seated right away, with our reservation. And received waters as well. Then had to wait for 20 minutes for our drink order to be taken. Other tables around us had their drinks in hand before they even looked at us and that required me asking someone to take our order. And even then, they seemed confused about which server section we belonged to. Then we ordered our food and it was mediocre at best. We had to educate our server as to what came with the meal. and finally got the side items after we finished the meal. Additionally, the pancakes, again not a normal menu item, came out in multiple forms. One plate was a large pancake, but then our other order came out as a side of pancakes, that tasted like they were fresh from the microwave, small and very hard. Their second attempt to fix them did not improve. This time they came out on the same plate that originally came out, toppings and butter had just been moved so that the pancakes only could be replaced. Again, hard and very un-appetizing. We finally received a plate of fruit to replace the bad pancakes. Luckily those are hard to mess up. The rest of the food was under seasoned, and all the toast came our dry and slightly burnt, no butter or jam even offered. Overall, a very disappointing time from what is normally a very consistent dining experience. I hope they can do better next time.

Perfectly prepared salmon, some of the best onion rings I've found, and attentive staff. Good food paired with a jazzy lounge feel that caters to families, dates, and solo diners. A hidden gem in the suburbs.

We went there on Valentine's Day. I was looking forward to the Beef Bourguignon on special that day. Nope. They ran out. NBD. I ordered the Roasted Free Range Chicken. The size was more like the size of a free range sparrow. I mentioned that to our server and she indicated that the kitchen was doing the best they can. Huh? I often take home a third to a half of what is served. I finished all of it including the smallest side of mashed potatoes I ever had. It was a huge challenge to pace myself to finish at the same time as my Fiancee AND she took some of her meal home. The server did not have a manager come to speak with us either to maybe just provide info or an apology. The food was tasty, but my serving was ridiculously small.

My wife and I went here for the 1st time and left not too impressed. My wife's salmon was over cooked but in the other hand my skirt steak was cooked perfectly. Service was somewhat slow and the Pollyanna beer I had was not as cold as I would have preferred. It does have a nice ambiance and is quiet where you do not need to shout to be heard. I'm not sure if we would go back for another meal.

We have been to Glen Praire many times and we have never had a bad meal. Edna was our server and she has taken care of us previously. She is friendly and knowledgeable about the offerings. This restaurant is a unique gem and we will continue to return. Kudos to the chef for offering incredible meals.

Everything about this restaurant was absolutely amazing. My daughter has Celiac and we are always looking for restaurants with decent gluten free options for her. Glen Prairie checked all the boxes. Almost everything on their menu can be made gluten free. The entrees we had were so good. We can't wait to go back. The ambience in there is really relaxing. It was a perfect night.

Gluten free options are amazing. The onion rings with the aioli dip is so good. Smashburger was amazing.

Glen Prairie is a hidden gem. Quiet and tasteful. No need to shout to your fellow diners. Friendly staff. Menu is limited compared to some restaurants but the food was outstanding. Will definitely be going back.
