“The food is simple and kid friendly (as it should be) and the train theme is super cute. I think our trip would have been better if we had ridden Metra there as it's right by the station. So something to consider for your trip as it was quite a drive for us.

I do feel for the poor server who was constantly re-aligning the train due to derailments. And she didn't have a cutoff switch - it's in the kitchen so she has to yell back. I think the rail setup could be improved for the employee's quality of life.“

“We went to the Batavia location. The employees were so nice! Today was our second time coming last time I just grabbed a regular grilled cheese we came back today with my wife and son they asked if we got a punch card last time I said no he gave us one and punched it for our previous visit also! I didn’t even ask for that the guy working just did it! He was very nice to my son also asked if he had teeth (my sons under 2) and I said yes why and he gave him a couple apple slices free of charge while we waited for our takeout! We’ll definitely be coming back! Food was great too!“

“My first visit to Char Kabobs was excellent! I wasn’t sure what to order because I’m not (yet!) super familiar with the cuisine. The chef? recommended the Chicken Boti wrap and it was delicious! I’d asked for it spicy and it had the perfect amount of heat for me. Freshly prepared, flavorful tender chicken, lots of onions, just the right amount of lettuce and delicious sauce all wrapped up in fresh flat bread. I will definitely be back to try more items! Highly recommend!!“

“Food comes promptly and is piping is hot when you get it. Staff is professional and so very friendly, plus the check on you often. Didn’t hurt that there were mariachis performing for Cinco De Mayo! Always my go to local restaurant! 😘“
