I just ate a fried pork chop dinner, preceded by a salad and fresh-baked bread with butter, followed by a hot fudge sundae, for twenty bucks total. It was served in 3 courses. Everything was delicious and perfectly cooked and in perfect proportions. Pork chop came with real mashed potatoes, tender soft carrots and green beans. The hot fudge sundae really impressed my neighbor at the bar and I ate all of that too but I will say the ice cream was a bit freezer burnt. Everyone should just order dessert more often. We have been coming to Johnnie's for years but recently they hired a new hostess. She is very unpleasant, I think it will actually hurt her to smile. We always ask for a table and every time I ask for a table, she scrunches her face and says "table"? Like she can't believe that three people would want to sit at a table instead of a booth. This happens every single time, it's become comical! Bring back the former host who recognized us and immediately welcomed us and asked how we were!Food is still very good but the feeling of being welcome is just not there anymore!
