Celebrated my mom’s birthday with the family in August. Food was amazing. Everyone was so nice. Ambiance is classy and great!
The food was amazing! All plates are intended to be shared. Atmosphere is warm and service staff was great!
We had an incredible dinner here. Service was excellent, sushi was some of the best I’ve had in all of Chicagoland and they did a great job with the interior design of the space. The tuna hand roll was a standout. Highly recommend and will definitely be back. Glenview is lucky to have this restaurant.

Zenzi Den is a restaurant in Glenview that has impressed many diners with its excellent service, beautiful interior design, and Japanese vibes in its decor and lighting. The sushi is some of the best in all of Chicagoland, and the fish is imported from Tokyo, which shows in its freshness. Standout dishes include the tuna hand roll, scallop and duck dumplings, Crazy Crab Yakisoba, Sake to Me roll, salmon nigiri, mushroom rice, edamame, and orange creamsicle dessert. The duck dumplings are fresh and flavorful, and the Crazy Crab Yakisoba is a highlight with great flavor and the perfect amount of spice. Cocktails are ok, though sake pricing is very high. The service is extremely hospitable and formal yet still warm and inviting. One complaint was an unfriendly hostess on a busy evening. Overall, the food is very good, and many look forward to returning to try other delicious entrées and dishes.
