“I recently moved into the area and had a gift card for schoops so i decided to stop in for lunch on a weekday afternoon. I had the schoops mickey which I'm not sure what the difference is between that and just a normal cheeseburger. Service was nice from the ladies. Atmosphere is like a retro diner. The place was well kept which makes me think they intend to keep that vibe going. At the time of this review, I paid about $18 for the burger, small fries, and a coke. That's not including tip. It's certainly not a place for the budget minded.“

“We ordered the cod dinner on 1/29 and it was delicious. However, when we sat down in a booth we noticed an elderly lady struggling to walk up the icy sidewalk from the parking lot. When the young man brought our food we told him about it and suggested someone spread salt on the area. He was nice and thanked us for mentioning it. However, in the 45 minutes we sat there no one followed through and actually salted the sidewalk. Not good, Culvers.“

“well I'm really torn on if I should recommend or not... most of the time the food is fine but when it comes to fundraisers they are really really horrid. let's put a box out and not put anything on the box so the majority of the people have no idea about tossing their receipts in there for a cause... im pretty sure they make enough money where they can put something on the boxes for the customers... if they are so scared about losing money don't even bother... yesterday I was there around 4 and not one person threw a receipt in the box.. “This was my 1st time at Schoops, St John In., location. The food was fresh, and the waitress was excellent. 😋 The tuna melt was delicious, I asked for pickles, and she brought me some on the side. “Came through the drive thru Saturday evening late....about a half hour before they closed. The girl who took our order was so sweet and polite. It was nice to hear someone be so kind and seem to love their job still so much despite all the craziness going on with places being short staffed. Our food was all correct and hot. I told the girl how she made my day and she was so thankful...definitely a great employee and someone they need to keep around. Keep up the good work!!“

“If you are looking for a clean, friendly atmosphere with GOOD food…YOU’VE JUST FOUND IT! I come here for lunch every week with my niece. I always order 6 wings with bbq sauce, hot sauce, and lemon pepper. It is so good…and during lunch you get a free order of wing when you buy an order of wings. We’ve also get other items like, the fried green tomatoes and the cheese sticks…EVERYTHING IS GREAT!
They also have great desserts! The strawberry cheesecake egg rolls and banana pudding are mouthwatering good! The service is amazing and the food is FRESHLY cooked…never reheated. I have co-workers, family, and friends coming just from tasting my food one time. Plus, the restrooms are super clean! To sum it all up…don’t hesitate to go…you won’t be disappointed!“

Also had the four slider staple. I've never had a bad experience at this White Castle, I've been going to this location for over 25 years. Doesn't matter the time, or if it's doordashed, never a bad experience. Not like the McDonald's over the bother, that ALWAYS messes up my order. Anyway, the employee at the drive thru was #1009, I hope she gets the credit she deserves for having great customer service and friendly attitude. I suggest a raise.“
