“just found the place last week. The nicest dang people work there. young lady made me that pistachio and Chai latte to perfection. the slider and burrito were excellent. Positive vibe and energy as soon as you hit the door. nice set up and the upstairs is really inviting. Very happy to had the privilege of finding a great place like this. “Just discovered this place today and I am a fan of the peanut butter chocolate chip cookie. Slightly crunchy to bite followed by soft cookie deliciousness! Will be back and looking forward to trying some lunch dishes. The eat-in area looks cozy and comfortable.“

“Absolutely the best food and customer service on the south suburbs. I had a party of 11. We sat down at a table immediately, the waitress took our drink order and then food order. Everything came out the kitchen fresh and hot. The food smelled delicious and looked delicious. me and my friends did the happy 😊 dance all afternoon. 5 out of 5 🌟“

“I can't begin to explain how delicious everything was! For starters, I don't ever eat crab cakes but I tried them and they were DELISH! Next, I had the rolls. They were so good I didn't want to share! LOL! I had the salad with the balsamic vinegarette and it was so fresh and delish! For the main course, I had the Chicken Alfredo and it was FIRE!!!!! LOVED IT! Finally, I had the warm brownie dessert with Gelato and OMG it was soooo good!!! I honestly loved everything about this place from meeting Yvette (Owner and Executive Chef) to the ambiance and the food! I would give it 10 stars if I could! Can't wait to go back and take all of my friends!“

“First, I'd like to compliment the customer service. The staff there are helpful, patient, and considerate. Some of the best service I've seen in a long time. The place was packed. The food: Asian sesame chicken salad with a vinaigrette dressing. It comes with a choice of apple, chips, or baguette. Light, refreshing, and flavorful. The wontons added a great crunch and texture to the salad. 10's across the board for me.“

We were visiting some friends here all the way from Georgia. We wish we had one of these in the south.
The food was delicious! We came twice during our visit. The servers were great and they would check on us often. The manager was super friendly.
All the food, drinks, and dessert that we ordered always tasted delicious!

“Everything is great at Marilyn's Bakery. I have been enjoying lunches there lately; homecooked beef Panini sandwiches, chicken salad on a croissant, plus homemade soups & deserts. A lot of food reasonably priced. Also, their homemade pies and pastries are exceptional. Support your local businesses in St. John.“

“Clean store. Peaceful atmosphere. Staff is polite and smile. Food was fresh and made to order. There was stone constantly walking through the lobby cleaning up. I ordered the broccoli & cheddar bread bowl and the French Onion Soup bread bowl. Both were tasty.“
“I thought this was a very unique and fun place where you can have a great time playing the Gambling Slots/games, and I really enjoyed the Bagel Dog I ate here too ? yummy! “I came here after shopping at the Antique mall. The popcorn smells amazing everything I walk by. I got the chicken salad sandwich, which was pretty good. The bread was nicely toasted and they put a good amount of the chicken on the sandwich. The chicken salad mayo, tasted tangy, but sweet. It worked well for the sandwich. The cashier brought out the sandwich to my table, which was nice. I cannot wait to try their other sandwiches and have a beer there sometime.“
“This stellas is a nice comfortable place to play slots and have some fun. Marriam who works their is very kind and polite and a happy person and makes you feel very comfortable when your their. She does a wonderful job and will come back to play and see her and talk with her.“

“Upon entering the establishment, we were seated within three seconds before our butt hit the seats we were served with a fresh jar of water and coffee and our order was placed within three minutes, after a 7 to 10 minute wait our food arrived. It was average looking, but the taste made up for the presentation of the food. The service was great. I’ll waitress was nice polite and punctual. I do recommend this place to anyone who is looking for fast clean service with a smile.“
