CHUG A LUG PUB & GRILL Reviews
I went there for the first time. The vibe, service and food was great. my only issue was the automatic 18 percent gratuity. it was only two people who had one drink each, burgers and appetizer. Our bull was 89.00. Also we were not given an actual bill we were just told our bill was 89.00. I didn't appreciate that and have never experienced that before.
love the atmosphere and the food and staff are good to.
Good food and drinks, pick your vibe, roof top or bar area

Chug A Lug Pub & Grill offers tasty food, with standout dishes like wings with a slight spice and Bourbon sauce. The bartenders are described as cool and friendly, and the restaurant has a lively atmosphere with a DJ, attracting a mixed older crowd. Guests enjoy drinks like 1800-repo and Pear-a-dura while shooting pool, which requires a small fee and leaving an ID. The cleanliness of the ladies restroom has been noted as an issue, particularly the slippery floor and lack of paper towels. The waitstaff's enthusiasm varies, but the service is generally pleasant, with some customers experiencing very fast service. The restaurant can get crowded, so it is recommended to check availability for a dining experience. Overall, it is a good place to eat and drink, especially for group outings, and many customers look forward to returning. Recent reviews highlight the delicious jerk lamb chops, tender and smoky with a Caribbean kick, and the mac & cheese, which was creamy with a golden baked top. Loaded mashed potatoes were described as smooth and buttery with toppings, offering a soul-satisfying meal that many found unforgettable. The rooftop atmosphere with a DJ makes it a total vibe, especially during events like the Sundress Soiree, where food and service were praised. However, some dishes like the catfish can vary in quality; one customer found it tasteless and fried too hard, and was charged $15 for onion rings that were over-fried and uneaten. Wings, drinks, and the overall service received good reviews, though some felt it was not a place to rush back to, seeing other options like Chili’s as equally good for drinks and hanging out.
