Positioned in what used to be an old Indiana town where the stagecoach used to stop here to give its passengers a rest, eats and drink. “Stopped in here on our way to the Chicago area for the evening and was looking for something before we got into the City. A little off of the path from the interstate but well worth it! My friends had pretzel bites and a burger with fries respectively, i had frog legs (not something you often see on a menu in this area) and my wife had a steak sandwich. Everything was great. Its not a large place and wasn't busy at the time but the service was excellent as well. We don't travel north that often but i would definitely recommend to a traveler looking for something different and familiar at the same time.”

“Honestly can’t say enough good things about this place, we had them to cater my nephew’s rehearsal dinner and everyone was amazing from the very first phone call, we spoke with the mangers and owner, they made recommendations, delivered an excellent dinner when they said they would, and picked up the pans afterwards, all the guests were raving about the food and the owner even called to make sure everything was perfect! Would definitely work with them again! Thanks to everyone for making such an amazing dinner and taking that stress off the families!”

“I'm not sure what the kitchen offers, but the bartenders are always friendly with quick refills and there are several pool tables, a dart board, giant Jenga as well as a touchtunes jukebox and gambling machines. The bathroom is always clean and the women's is so hospitable. The regulars are welcoming too. Always have a great time at this female owned bar!”
