I agree with other reviewers that the donuts were quite dry. I tried a Boston cream that had very little filling and not much flavor. That said, I also got a bear claw that was huge and packed with apples — and that one was not dry at all. So it may be a bit hit or miss depending on what you order. Unfortunately, I didn’t enjoy the donuts enough to come back. The store was clean, though, and the employees were extremely friendly.

Really cool local doughnut shop. Very fast, very friendly and great prices. Stopped on a whim, but boy am I glad I did. The doughnuts were awesome and they had a good selection. Would definitely stop here for doughnuts again.

I have been there on 3 different occasions so now I will leave my review. I don't know what the hype is all about. The donuts are not the best. My experience is they are dry. You definitely need some type of drink. The Boston Cream are so so. The chocolate frosting has very little taste of chocolate. The cream is pudding not freshly made. The fruit filled donuts are filled with can preserves and very little filling. The people were very friendly that worked there.

Great Donuts! My family and I were in the area and stopped by to grab 6 Donuts. Wish we could have bought dozens! Would take the 2 1/2 hour round trip drive to get some Gurnee Donuts!!

This was my second time coming here. The first time was OK. I got a dozen donuts and told the lady at the front desk to just put 12 random donuts in the second time I came. I picked them out myself. Also got a dozen donuts. I’d have to say the second time the donuts didn’t have much flavor they taste kind of bland paid $22 for a dozen won’t be coming back here. The service is very friendly, but the donuts are not worth the price.

We stopped at Gurnee Donuts on our way out of town, but I wish I had stopped sooner and gotten donuts every day! AMAZING flavor, quality, and variety. Do not pass by this small shop in the strip mall without stopping for a delightful treat.
