I don’t understand what all the hype is about. Don’t get me wrong—the food and desserts are good, but I can’t justify the long, and I mean long, lines at the drive-thru. It makes me wonder: are people really that unwilling to get out of their cars, or are the locals just easily impressed?
The atmosphere inside the restaurant is nice, and the food and service are solid. However, it’s not the life-changing experience you might expect based on the wait times. It’s good, but it’s not that good.
If you’re willing to deal with the wait, you’ll likely enjoy the food, but for me, it just doesn’t live up to the inconvenience of those terrible lines

I love the beef and cheddar croissant but this year they really cut back on the beef on this sandwich. I realize prices of food has gone up which raises the price of everything but it's not worth spending money on this sandwich.

The menu board has its beef sandwich with a picture of it showing it has giardiniera on it. I did not see on the menu (probably listed somewhere but def not next to the picture or description) that it cost extra. I assumed it came with the sandwich since that's what multiple pictures showed. I did observe the *peppers cost extra signage. So the sandwich was kinda dry and boring (even though it did have sweet peppers I knew I needed to order extra) on it.... I guess I should have just ordered from the kiosk.

Can't believe on nov 20/24 we found a big plastic on a beef sandwich i was so mad I don't even think about taking a picture, the manager only said he was sorry and just replaced it and take it off the ticket

Absolutely amazing food as usual and great service!
This has to be the worst Portillo’s location in the chain. I’ve ordered take out from here twice and both times my orders were projected to 30 minutes late only to get notified of them being cancelled later. Went through the drive thru once and it took over an hour to get my food.

We had a fun time. I'll tell the drive through looks slammed.We were able to order our food indoors very quickly. We watch the staff work. They all seem to really enjoy their job. The meal was delicious.I wish the fries would have been a little more plentiful for the price.
