“Happen to find this little gem while waiting for a tow truck for my boyfriend‘s truck today. I was thinking Subway, but then I found this. I am so glad that I walked in there, and that she talked me into the focaccia Capri style. The foot-long is massive the sandwiches, and the meats are phenomenal and the service could not have been better, I don’t care if I live 40 minutes from here I’m coming back !!“

“This is the first time we've had Serinos. The subs are amazing. The bread soft and the meats sliced thin makes for a great sub. The cheese brick oven is our sons favorite. The potato and macaroni salads are so tasty. Desserts fantastic. We love Serinos and is now our favorite deli. Great staff. Keep up the perfect work! Almost forgot the chicken salad. The best chicken, not fatty or too thick. Perfect seasonings. Hard to find a great chicken salad like my own home made, but Serinos is great!“

“I grew up eating Lou’s. Never had another deep dish. And I’ll never get tired of it. They can get busy especially on the weekends but you can order your pizza ahead while you wait. It’s best to reserve if you can. My favorites (besides the classic) are their Buffalo wings, calamari, pasta, and can’t forget the cookie skillet. Always had a great experience.“

“Home Run, got the 8 finger cavetelli with a couple meatballs on the side. Both were amazing, pasta cooked fresh tasted great, meat sauce was very meaty. The place was spotless, by far the cleanest restaurant I've gotten food from in a long time. You can tell the owner cares. I hope they continue making great food cause I'm gonna continue going here.“

“If you want great Italian Chicago style food this is where you go. It's a nice inviting Pizza restaurant. The food from beefs, pizzas, spaghetti and meatballs. It's all good. My favorite is the meatball sandwich on garlic bread. The manager Emily is great and friendly. She takes care of catering as well. If you need a party setup ask for Emily. This place is the only place around making all their Italian food by hand. It's ran by an old Italian guy that keeps the food just right! “Celebrated my mother in-laws 90th birthday and could not be more pleased. We were a group of 30 for brunch and the food was wonderful. The buffet had a huge spread of good tasting food. We were also pleased with the staff. We had a waitress that did not miss a beat. So impressed. Well done Venuti’s.“

“HUGE HEADS UP: If you bring cake to the restaurant you will be charged a "cake cutting fee" of $2.50 PER PERSON. I'm not sure what happened in the past for this unreasonable fee to exist, but you need to advertise this on your website and restaurant entrance. Being told on the spot with your group and cake is not useful. As much as I love this place, I would not have come in if I knew this beforehand. My family and I brought our own paper plates and cutlery too. I understand if there was a reasonable fee for bringing out extra plates and using fridge storage, but we essentially paid $25.00 to store our ice cream cake in a freezer and have one knife brought to us. On top of an automatic 20% gratuity for 8+ people (which is advertised at the entrance, so no complaints there). Our waiter was very kind and attentive. We appreciated him and the delicious food. I am just asking for more transparency because paying $25 extra for that is ridiculous. Start posting this information so your customers can make informed choices x“

“Dinner was great. We've never had a bad meal. We usually try the specials, and they never disappoint. Service is great. Very friendly. One of my favorite dishes , although I have not seen it on the menu for a while, is the Rotollo. I hope to see it again. Thank you Made in Italy for your food and service! “Love going here for their pepper and egg sandwiches on Fridays. Also tried their BLT and the one with mortadella and pesto. Love that I can add calabrian chili spread but need to be careful because that stuff is hot. And finally a sandwich shop that serves it on real bread and the right size. Never go hungry after eating here. Also the lemon cookies are on point. Need to try some of the hot sandwiches next.“

“I was very impressed by Fire and Wine. It has a casual vibe. Obviously a local favorite. Each dish was excellent in taste and presentation. Service was great! Both the hostess and server were happy to share recommendations of their favorite dishes. We had the black pepper shrimp appetizer and the pizza bread for the tasty sauce!! We enjoyed our salads and entrees. We were too full for dessert! As we left, I was impressed at how clean the restaurant was- even after serving such a large crowd. Nice place. Good culture. Recommend!“

“I have waited too long to order from here! We tried a panzerotti, cheesy garlic bread, a thin crust pizza, and tiramisu to go. All the food was yummy! The pizza was loaded with ingredients. A high quality cheese. And sausage with fennel, yum! It smells good when you walk in. Very authentic Italian food! Friendly service. Reasonable prices. I'll be back.“

“Friday night is always pizza night in my house. My daughter loves coming to the "pizza store" with me to pick up our order...she's treated like a little celeb there and we love it. This past Friday was no different, so I wanted to give a shout out to the chef for making my little girl's night. We stopped in to pick up our order but forgot to ask for our free cheese. The store was bumpin' and while I didn't want to wait 15 more mins, I didn't want to be a burden on the kitchen. The chef saw I was with my daughter, and asked if the cheese was for her. When I told him it was, he simply nodded and went back into the kitchen. He came back out with my order, and 2 massive slices of cheese for my daughter. Not only is the food delicious, but service like that is why we go back. Thanks everyone!“

“Our server and all the people that work there were awesome. CIindy was great. We were seated early, which was nice. They did not mention that it was a problem that one of our five wasn't able to show. I do say that the sound was very loud, and we were lucky enough to be seated away from the main seating area. Which was very congested. But we were not rushed. We were actually encouraged to take our time. It was a birthday for two of the people with us, which they brought out small treat at the end of the dinner. There was a surprise 20% off on house bottles of wine. Overall, it was a very good experience, but I would definitely ask for that hallway off the side to help lessen the congestion and the noise. We're looking forward to going in the summer and sitting outside on the roof, which is just fantastic.“

“Been a Rosati’s customer for 25 years using several different locations And I gotta say, I think this is the best location. I don’t think I’ve ever been disappointed in any of the food. “We love JJ Twigs. The pizza is always hot and fresh and they have really good sauce & cheese. The beef sandwich with cheese on garlic bread is hands down the best around. We typically get delivery and the drivers are professional and polite. The one time we ate there the service was good, the server was hustling to keep everyone happy and fun to talk to. A low key atmosphere and ok to bring the kids!“

“Came to Lucia Rose for the Tuesday Martini special and to check out a newer Addison addition. I've passed by Lucia Rose a number of times and was happy I was finally able to dine here. The inside is beautifully designed with the bar and open kitchen being the focal points. There are also so many windows for great natural light and there appears to be a patio available for when the weather gets nicer. Who doesn't love a good weekday martini but for $8!? One cannot go wrong. There was a total of (6) options included in the special. I tried both the Pomegranate and Elderflower Empress. They were perfectly balanced and not overly spirit forward/strong which was nice. To start, we got the Grilled Calamari which came on a bed of arugula. The calamari had a really good char on it and came with a light sauce on top. For entrees, we split both the Arugula & Pistachio Pesto and Spicy Rigatoni. The Pesto pasta does have a strong arugula taste, the pistachios offered a nice crunch, and the noodles were cooked perfectly. I loved that this was a pasta where you leave not feeling overly heavy from what you just ate. The Spicy Rigatoni was a favorite. The spice level is mild, which I appreciated, but each noodle had a great amount of sauce with it; the flavor was delicious. Staff was excellent with refilling out waters, checking in on our table, wrapping up our leftovers, and asking if we needed anything more. This is the perfect spot for a date night to a girls night to a causal drink. It's hard to find city-like places in the suburbs but this certainly falls onto the list!“

“Small pocket of deliciousness brought to you by genuine Italian family with friends. The delicate taste of caprese with homemade bread was scrumptious. Fried & baked panzerotti:The bread was soft, the cheese was ooey gooey & the tomato sauce was fresh and earthly. None of that canned salty sauce. Definitely must try more when we visit again. Forgot to take picture of the shrimp & broccoli linguine but also light & flavorful. You must try“

“I've always been a fan of deep-dish pizza, having grown up in the Midwest, but now having lived in the south for decades. Life has brought me back to the Midwest, and to the mecca of deep-dish pizza, Chicagoland. So of course in the first few days of moving into the Geneva, IL area, I had to find pizza. Deep-dish pizza. Piled high with meat and cheese, weighing a pound per slice, forced to eat it with a fork. They do call it a "pie" after all, and I've never tried to "fold" or eat any other pie with my fingers...so why should a "pizza pie" be any different??? Yelp sent me to Charlie Fox's as a close-by option, and it didn't disappoint. Ordering over the phone I told the employee I wanted "deep-dish" and he said, "You know we do 'pan' pizza. Is that going to be okay?" After confirming it would still be an inch think, I doubled-up on both the meat and cheese. I was told 30 minutes. I arrived just a couple of minutes early, so the wait was minimal. These things can't be rushed, after all. In the meantime I looked around the small, unassuming shop. Just a couple of tables, but the two guys working behind the counter were friendly and helpful. I was told to make sure to hold on to the coupons that came with my pie, and when I told the man working the counter that I had just moved into the area and it was my first time there, he made sure my order was right. Even another customer, watching them cut and box my order said, "Wow...that looks good." I wasn't disappointed. Hot, with gooey delicious mozzarella clinging to every slice, the dough cooked just perfectly chewy, my partner and I gobbled down multiple slices. I'll definitely be going back. The service and food were both top notch, served out of a basic but clean shopfront! Five stars!!!“

“We decided to try out Tre Amici for our daughter’s birthday party catering. We could not be more pleased with their catering package and the price was so reasonable to feed a large group. The sausage and beef combo, pasta, salad, and pizza package we put together was excellent. All the food was well prepared and our guests were complimenting everything the whole party. We would definitely use them again for our future catering needs.“

“I love this place, and I've been going for over 10 years now. The manager might seem rough around the edges from time to time, but he's an extremely kind person. He just has a lot on his plate running a pizza place that's near and dear to so many people in and around the area. Thank you, Naps, for all you've done. I had an opportunity to see the back kitchen because I was doing an inspection on the building & I was impressed by how clean it was, and the products I was seeing them use looked authentic.“

“Happened to be near Pizzeria Di Maria this evening & the wonderful aroma made my daughter & myself get a slice of pepperoni pizza for $4. It was a huge slice with a generous amount of pepperoni slices covering the entire slice. I wasn't going to have dinner until I saw & smelled the pizza. My daughter & I split the slice & it is as delicious as it looked. The man at the register who may have been the owner was friendly & came back with a hot & fresh slice of pizza within 5 minutes of ordering. Will have to come back again!“

“Jet’s pizza is hands down my favorite. Not sure what I like best: the ez-pz ordering on the app, the prompt & courteous delivery, or the overall perfect, delicious pizza. Their thin and crispy is just that - thin AND *crispy*! No moving these pizzas from the box to the heated pizza stone in the oven to crisp up the crust. It’s already perfect. And the Detroit-style 4- or 8-corner pizzas?! Take that to a potluck party and make new best friends. Keep it all to yourself and and enjoy every bite.“

“I flew in from FL for my brother 40th birthday. The waitress Mary was exceptional and extraordinary in every way. This is one of the best Italian restaurants I have ever been to. My childhood friend had the cheese tortellini. It was the best dish I ever had in my whole life. My brother goes back for the baked clams as that is his all time favorite. They even sang happy birthday. It's a great feeling knowing that people still care. Thank you and God Bless!“

“I usually go to a pizza place on Irving Park Road in Roselle, but they were getting too pricy, and even charged a fee for using a credit card. I thought I’d give Capone’s a try, and I’m very glad I did!!I love a good sausage topping, and it can either make or break the rest of the pizza. The sausage Capone’s uses is tasty and not rubbery, as it can be with some other places. It was perfect. The sauce is has just the right amount of tanginess, and the crust is superb. The lady that answered the phone to take my order was very pleasant and patient (I had a few questions) and she even offered me free mozzarella sticks or a discount. There was no additional fee for using my credit card, and service was prompt (I picked up my pizza). The inside decor is warm, cheerful and quaint. Extremely cozy.I could definitely see eating there.I normally don’t write reviews, but my experience there was so pleasant, from the time I called to place the order, to taking the last bite of my final slice, that I felt compelled to.If they were open today (New Year’s Day) I would be ordering another pizza, since my son wasn’t home to enjoy it yesterday. : )5 stars*****“

“We usually frequent another authentic, wood-burning pizza place in Schaumburg, but when a new Italian restaurant opened in town, had to check it out!Ambience is nice and modern - almost like a 'sports bar' vibe...lots of TVs around, the colors scheme was RED - not sure if it was for Christmas/holiday time. Also not sure how it looks during lunch time or regular non-holiday time. It does not have a 'small, cozy, Italian family' vibe but a regular chain-restaurant vibe.Staff is suited up with uniforms. Our waitress was polite, friendly and attentive. We even had them make a simple pasta with marinara sauce (off the menu) for my kids - which they did.Food - I wouldn't call it 'authentic Italian'. It's American-Italian.I missed the 'Napoli' flavor; the taste of the dough is different - the personal thin crust pizza is still thicker than usual. The oven is not wood-burning. It's gas and is automatic - it keeps revolving at a pace (kinda cool to see!), but I believe, it impacts different pizza topings differently. Nothing bad, just different!“

“Stumbled onto this venue via Google maps while wandering around Woodfield Mall and I'm sure glad I got the opportunity to try it.Not that Schaumburg is limited with restaurants, there's plenty around but I was looking for a specific pizza joint with high ratings & reviews that wasn't a popular chain that most ppl heard of and ended up here.Marino's boasts a great all-around menu with delicious food at still reasonable prices with a clean dining area and ultra friendly service. We live up in Beach Park in NE Lake County so time will tell when we'll be back if ever in the area again. “We've been ordering pizza here for years and we love the pizza. The other night we got an extra large pizza in order mozzarella sticks and a Chicken Caesar salad and the total came back $59 . When I looked at the receipt more closely, the price of the Chicken Caesar salad was 17.95... this was not a gigantic salad this was a dinner sized salad for 1 person absolutely I... And I didn't get any dressing for this $18 salad. We will always order the pizza because my family loves it but the rest we may skip because of high prices“
